I think more about not taking the legendary bow.
@Ignis Ah indeed, I’ll not be able to make Pauline recruitable.
I can at the very least make her more sympathetic in the chapter’s cutscenes to honor it a bit.
Thanks a lot for the submission. ![]()
And with that, all slots are taken! Thanks a lot for all the submissions everyone! ![]()
Now the rest is up to me, it really might take a long days to fully release the hack, but I’ll do it the best that I can while also balancing my IRL personal stuff, promised.
I’ll start posting some ‘dev logs’ to showcase progress, and I believe I’ll drop the first later on today to talk about what the new items and wEXP will be. Best of luck for me. ![]()
i am hyped
Welp i tryed but one think if after stealing all her items she dont drop her stone then give her only divine stone.
@anon72503772 the hack is full so here’s the full name for Septuple/Sextuple who become Quintuple/Quadruple
Septuple => Quintuple
New Battle Quote: We are Quintuple and soon we will be Sextuple.
Together we stand undeafeated, together we are immortal.
Sextuple => Quadruple
New Battle Quote: We started this day as Quadruple and we will end it as far more,
together we stand undeafeated, together we are immortal.
and another thing too, since Quintuple is already the boss of his own chapters and Quadruple replaces Thoril which is the “Main” boss of the gaiden chapter I propose of making Leyon(brakul replacement) the main boss
another possible story thread is that since the Quintuple/Quadruple share their memories and sense at all time they would know that lyn’s army has killed a part of them and is coming
the last possible stpry thread is that Sue rules all of the sacaen clans but is fighting alonside Quintuple/Quadruple and Leyon to protect the legendary bow despite that Quintuple/Quadruple is a warlord probably triyng to overthrow her and that might backstab her and take the weapon for themselves
I am also hyped
Ok last question is it possible for you to dupilcate event of clain /thea/persival squads event that if they all survive you gain Item ?
@Ignis I took a quick look at the events and, they are very clear and organized to be duplicated, but the problem is that they are ASM events that I’m not sure how it is coded, if perhaps it only works on the same chapters as vanilla or for example, so I don’t think I’ll be able to duplicate more events like these.
wait were done?

—DEV LOG #01—
Alright! Let’s start the development progress with both the new items and wEXP info.
First things first the wEXP situation; as it was informed, in FE6 there’s no individual wEXP per weapon, all of them grants the same amount towards the next rank. I indeed had no idea that it was the case for FE6 only, but not to worry as I thought of a new way to buff wEXP when accounting for everything around it!
Lemme quickly explain how weapon experience works in FE6, it’s like ‘points’ for each rank:
1 = E Rank | 51 = D Rank | 101 = C Rank | 151 = B Rank | 201 = A Rank | 251 = S Rank
In vanilla FE6, you gain 1 point for each landed hit, with an extra 1 point if it was a killing blow.
So for this version, it will be buffed to 2 points for landed hits, with an extra 2 for a killing blow.
Practical Examples
- You land one single hit on the enemy, who survives. You gain 2 wEXP.
- You double an enemy landing both hits, but they survive. You gain 4 wEXP.
- You kill an enemy with a single hit, no doubling necessary. You gain 4 wEXP.
- You double an enemy, landing both hits AND killing in the second hit. You gain 6 wEXP.
Keep in mind that there’s two caveats from vanilla; first is that you obviously don’t gain wEXP points on the attack you miss, but second is that, if your weapon breaks during the FULL round of combat, you’ll NOT gain any wEXP points whatsoever. This is apparently the same as all three vanilla GBAFEs, and I’m not sure if it’s the same with the rest of the official Fire Emblems, but still something to keep in mind!
That’s the case for the weapons, both physical and magical, now last thing is about staves;
1st is that they’ll grant 3 wEXP per use, buffed from vanilla 1 wEXP. Faster Rank for healers!
2nd is that they’ll grant 15 Level Experience per use. Your healers will level up faster too!
So that’s it for wEXP.
Now let’s talk about the new items! Here’s their full list;
(Remember that vanilla weapons will have FE7/8 stats)
![]()
-Battle Axe (Icon by Beansy)
Might: 13 Hit: 55 Crit: 5 Durability: 25 Weight: 16 Rank: C Axes
Stats were based on FE8’s Battle Axe. Replaces the Al’s Sword.
![]()
-Great Lance (Icon by Beansy)
Might: 12 Hit: 60 Crit: 5 Durability: 25 Weight: 14 Rank: C Lances
I’ve used the comparison between the Steel Axe and the Battle Axe to make the Great Lance’s stats. Replaces the Gant’s Lance.
![]()
-Relieve (Icon by 2WB)
Durability: 30 Rank: E Staves
Replaces but has the same functionality as the Tina’s Staff, as unlike the other manga tie-in weapons, the Tina’s Staff actually has a unique ‘when used’ code exclusive to it, so I didn’t want to have it go unused.
![]()
-Zanbato (Icon by 2WB)
Might: 6 Hit: 85 Crit: 0 Durability: 20 Weight: 11 Rank: D Swords
The anti-cavalry sword from FE7/8, now also appearing in FE6!
![]()
-Langdebeve (Icon by 2WB)
Might: 9 Hit: 70 Crit: 0 Durability: 20 Weight: 14 Rank: D Lances
Same with the anti-armor lance, the Heavy Spear! It’s unique name is how it was also called in my FE7 PME.
![]()
-Wind Edge (Icon by Batima)
Might: 9 Hit: 70 Crit: 5 Durability: 20 Weight: 9 Rank: B Swords
The anti-flier Wind Sword, based on it’s stats from FE8 but with less uses to make it comparable to the other two magic swords.
![]()
-Dragonpike (Icon by Beansy)
Might: 10 Hit: 70 Crit: 0 Durability: 20 Weight: 20 Rank: C Lances
Wyrmslayer for Lance users! Based on it’s stats from FE8.
![]()
-Serpentfall (Icon by 2WB)
Might: 12 Hit: 60 Crit: 0 Durability: 20 Weight: 11 Rank: C Axes
Same with Axe users! Based on the Dragon Axe from FE8.
![]()
-Compact Axe (Icon by Topazlight)
Might: 7 Hit: 85 Crit: 10 Durability: 30 Weight: 7 Rank: E Axes
And here’s the slim version of Axes, from Engage! Now, something important about the ‘slim’ weapons that you might have noticed based on the Compact Axe’s stats; since the wEXP will be the same for all weapons, I’ve reworked all the ‘slim’ so that they are the following: compared to their Iron counterparts, they’ll have -10 Uses and -1 Might, but they’ll also have +10 Hit Rate, +10 Crit Chance and -3 Weight. This is the best way that I found to make up for the ‘slim’ weapons, that way they are actually very accurate while still doing great damage, while the Iron weapons are still great if the extra might is enough to take down an enemy. Hope you like these new versions of them!
(Keep in mind that the Short Bow will also be a ‘slim’ weapon, and that all of them are still E Rank)
![]()
-Jagged Bow (Icon by Seal)
Might: 7 Hit: 80 Crit: 0 Durability: 20 Weight: 11 Rank: D Bows
Bow that is effective against mounted units.
![]()
-Splitter Bow (Icon by Topazlight)
Might: 9 Hit: 75 Crit: 0 Durability: 20 Weight: 11 Rank: D Bows
Bow that is effective against armor units.
![]()
-Radiant Bow (Icon by Batima)
Might: 10 Hit: 70 Crit: 0 Durability: 25 Weight: 9 Rank: C Bows
Bow that targets resistance instead of defense.
Here’s all the three new bows, hope you guys like them!
All three of them are as per usual effective against fliers, on top of their main effect.
![]()
-Shine (Icon by 2WB)
Might: 6 Hit: 90 Crit: 10 Durability: 35 Weight: 7 Rank: D Light
![]()
-Aura (Icon by 2WB)
Might: 12 Hit: 85 Crit: 10 Durability: 20 Weight: 12 Rank: A Light
Yep, there’s no Shine nor Aura tomes in vanilla FE6. I’m glad that there were icon slots left so I could implement them, giving Light magic the full Ranks coverage.
![]()
-Thorn (Icon by Batima)
Might: 8 Hit: 85 Crit: 10 Durability: 20 Weight: 10 Rank: C Light
Effective against mounted units. Think of it as the Light magic version of Dark Spikes from 3H!
![]()
-Ruin (Icon by Topazlight)
Might: 8 Hit: 75 Crit: 5 Durability: 35 Weight: 10 Rank: D Dark
With Flux being E Rank, this is the new D Rank tome. Unlike it’s appearance in Awakening it’s balanced to be an intermediate Dark tome between E and C Rank, while still having at least a little crit chance.
![]()
-Luna (Icon by 2WB)
Might: 10 Hit: 75 Crit: 5 Durability: 20 Weight: 12 Rank: C Dark
Effective against armor units. So besides there being no Luna tomes in FE6, there’s also no mechanic that ignores target’s resistance, so I’ve made it become the anti-armor tome, complimenting Light’s anti-cavalry tome and Anima’s anti-flier tome. Hope it’s not too confusing when using it in gameplay lol.
Two more things about the magic tomes;
First is that the Aircalibur will also be C Rank while being a little weaker.
Second is that all siege tomes will be B Rank, and their hit rates will be nerfed.
That’s it for weapons!
Also, if you submitted units, you can update them to pick a new weapon from the list above!
One last thing is that some items will have new names:
New Item Names List
- Aircalibur → Shaver
- Hero’s Crest → Veteran Belt
- Angelic Robe → Seraph Robe
- Goddess Icon → Divine Icon
- Dragonshield → Dracoplate
- Energy Ring → Energy Drop
- Body Ring → Statue Frag
- Boots → Swiftsole
The new icons of the following items:
![]()
Energy Drop (Icon by Topazlight)
![]()
Statue Frag (Icon by Topazlight)
And that’s all for now. Thanks for reading and cheers. ![]()
Well, it’s not like Eclipse couldn’t have its hit rate nerfed enough lol.
That aside tho, can’t wait for what more things this romhack will bring about.
Eclipse being even more precise now
woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo this sounds awesome
Eclipse will only finally be balanced when it has 0 hit. Have fun relying on your Shaman Skill (and in the case of FE8) Knoll Luck.
now that the wind edge and dragon axe are here I kinda want to put them on some of my bosses.
would uniconically be funny and a good idea if it also ignored enemy avoid
first question : I remember you saying you would add a greatbow, because one of my bosses has one
second question: since the demon dragonstone is Red’s exclusive weapon can it be renamed and/or have its description changed ?
Ah you’re right lol, when I mentioned the siege tomes I mostly had Bolting and Purge in mind.
I believe I’ll leave Eclipse alone, or perhaps even buff it’s hit rate a tad bit instead.
Also @Totoques22;
- About the bows, only the three new ones from the above list will be added actually. I don’t have anymore space remaining for new weapons with new icons.
- If you’re talking about Dark Breath (as it’s called in vanilla) then sure thing!
If anyone wants to have special dialogue if any of my bosses or with my playable characters let me know and what you want to have it about!
If high-hit Eclipse is an issue, you could make it a normal siege tome that (deals damage and) poisons the target instead of setting their hp to 1. I think it should be as simple as switching the drop-down special effect menu for Eclipse from the Eclipse effect to the Poison Weapon effect? Check for visual bugs, of course.
I know there are patches to buff poison damage in fe8, although idk if they exist in fe6. If they do, maybe poison damage could be buffed to be 10 damage/turn? It would keep with Eclipse’s theme of laying low the mighty and also buff the infamously terrible vanilla poison weapons.
