Hello guys! I recently started messing around with rom hacking and I already have a reskin/rebalance of Sacred Stones underway. For now, it is only available in serenes forest, but I will upload it here soon.
Anyway, I’ve been using female units and animations in my project and I would like to know if anyone here has made map sprites available for female summoner and female ranger. The animation database does not contain map sprites, so it is kinda hard to find those.

Don’t Female Ranger map anims already exist because of Neimi?

She uses the default ranger map animation. There’s no ā€œfemaleā€ version of it. It’s just unisex.

So I have an odd question, I think? So I’ve been scripting bow classes to have a melee and melee critical attack if it’s missing like below:

Since I’m scripting custom anims made by another user (Nuramon, Swain and Temp’s Sniper with recoil in this example which has been tested and works) Can I share it with you all and if yes, how?

The palette doesn’t match the original, or at least the version I use.

Yeah as long as u give credit to the original creator. Also I’m assuming u want the palette to be like that?

Yeah, I did notice that. It happened when I inserted the animation and then exported it, will work on recovering the original palette

That’s the generic player palette I created. I’ve been working on making generic palettes for the OG Fire Emblem games since hacks nowadays give their generics actual palettes instead of the defaults

Make sure you use the bin and not the txt as txt format cannot save palette data.
Also, your unarmed Arbalist has the wrong palette order.

Ah, that would probably do it, txt is generally my go to but I did not realize it doesn’t save the palette. Should be able to properly construct a better version from the original frames then
