I joined a year ago, my bad dude, I didn’t think I’d ruffle feathers. I guess I’ll return to lurking~
i think it was tongue in cheek, please stay a while
Nah just pay attention to thread topic and ya good you should have copy quote and paste it here and said what you want thats all. Dont let this bother ya but just be mindful
The zephiel animation on the repo for Eckesachs is broken. The sword stays in the same position during the entire spin.
Brother there is like 6 to 9 of those can you copy quote and paste here the one you found to be bugged as it is almost impossible to determine which one you mention without going through like 2290 posts
Right sorry about that. I meant the vanilla Zephiel aniamations here:
Everything inside this folder that has to do with Eckesachs looks like this:
This is only how the preview looks. It’ll look correct when played in-game.
Some animations, such as Zephiel’s king animation, use Sprite Rotation. The sword is drawn separately in a straight position, and then rotated afterwards during the animation.
To my knowledge, the only other vanilla anims that do this are the Hero animations, when they throw their Shield during the critical hit. If you look at the preview, the shield dissapears. But if you play it in-game, the shield spins in mid-air. Again, because it’s drawn and rotated separately.
how would you utilize sprite rotation in anims, i assume ASM or some junk like that…
If I could do something like that, I would use it to make it so classes always weild the ACTUAL weapon, drawn as a separate sprite, instead of having a generic one. Like how FE4 and FE5 do it.
Example: If a Swordmaster is using an Iron Blade, it will LOOK like an Iron Blade. Instead of looking like a Katana.
It would probably need a dual palette system similar to the vanilla Ballista animations.
that would be cool and sick to implement! kyaa! why did FE gba not have that system in the first place?
Space limitations, IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII suppose, maybe?
nah, it would have saved space to have the same weapons for everyone
Oh and also:
Man, I really have to release a portrait sometime now lol. Maybe a few days tho.
It still looked messed up when I imported it on Lex Talionis… I guess I’ll just make a new script and use w/e is there by default on LT. Thanks
Lex Tallionis is a different engine altogether. Don’t expect it to have all the same functions as GBA. It probably can’t read the function that calls for sprite rotation, or straight up can’t do it. If you import the anim on GBA, it’ll work.
Would anyone happen to know the credit for this Chapter BG thing from Sacred War? It’s in the Repo, but I don’t believe it’s under anybody’s name.
It’s likely the hack’s creator, Seal, made it. Sacred War has lots of graphics that Seal specifically made for it.
This sprite animation fit perfectly between being Hot and Being Cute. ![]()

heh hot as in fire heh heh (execute me)
