While we’re talking about origins of portraits, does anyone know where this came from?
One of those things that I found in my old portrait folder but I have no idea who made it and a reverse google search showed up with nothing.
I’d like to give it mouth and eye frames at least, and change the outfit a little if it’s f2e.

@Brober I tried to reverse search it, since I also really liked the portrait, but to absolutely no avail, seems to be a mystery its origins still.
Now, something that I found out from doing this tho, is that there’s actually a heap of other fan-made FE splices that are available in other websites, like DeviantArt and even Pixiv.
Makes sense tbh, not everyone likes FEU and prefers to post their work on their own web pages instead, but it does makes it hard to have a full archive of every work that’s available.
I mean as an example; if X person was looking for a splice for their hack, and it turns out Y person has a perfect splice that X person would love to use, but its on another website. Would Y person allow their work to be used? And would it even be possible to send a message to Y person in the first place, since they might have ended up abandoning all of their work too (some of them are from some good years back)?

Hi, just checking I’m visiting the right place. I found the GitHub page for the FE graphics repo in GitHub - Klokinator/FE-Repo: A public graphics repository for Fire Emblem portraits, battle animations, map sprites, and other assorted graphics people might like to use., but it seems to be not including a lot of the great works in the main repo thread while the person who started that repo has been suspended. Are we still maintaining that repo or there’s somewhere else I should visit?
That’s the correct link. And this is the correct place.
The repo is manually updated by a team of people, that’s why it’s slightly behind the thread.
Klok was banned for some non-repo reason and no longer works on maintaining the repo iirc

The repo is being mantained. Though, if you want your assets uploaded, it’s better to submit them directly to the repository discord. As the people who mantain it don’t always check the repo thread here on FEU
