Gitzip itself has a ‘number of files per download’ limit iirc. I don’t remember the number. 10,000? It’s not as high as you’d think, but it’s not low, either.

C2F glitch

“[Mage-Reskin] [F] Hat by RetroGamer”, I found a strange glitch that I’d like to report.
In the combat animation mage, if you use the C2F critical effect to trigger a CSA spell on a critical, the translucency process may be disabled.

I have confirmed the problem with FEditorCSA in FE8J.
I’m not sure if it also occurs in CSACreaor, as I haven’t researched it yet, but I think it probably does.
The problem does not occur at all with vanilla magic. (Probably)

C2F is only used in critical motions for wizards and sages.
It has two motions, melee and ranged, so be careful when modifying it.

C2F to C2E

However, sometimes it doesn’t occur even when the motion is using C2F.
Perhaps it has to do with the time between using C2F and activating the magic.
It seems that a margin of tens of frames is needed after C2F starts writing the critcal rune.
The size of the margin changes the content of the glitch.

If you have enough margins, you won’t have a problem.

If you don’t have enough margins, you’ll get a slightly different glitch.

So, I have this animation here. And I’m having some doubts about what should I do. In this folder you will find 3 folders that contain 3 battle animations. So I would like you to test it out and then tell me what do you think. I don’t have a patch, so you will have to import using FEGBABuilder. However, if you feel like it, just ask me, so I can make a patch, it’s because I’m not really into making a patch just for one animation, I also need to download NUPS, anyway.

If you don’t like to write much, you can also use this to vote.

Use the vote to select which of the animations in the folder fits better, you or the game. If you have any criticism, you can also say, no need to be shy.

  • Machine Gun/Main Cannon with no commander
  • Main cannon with commander (comes with more sound effects)

I finally got the repo all caught up, after three weeks without an update.

For context, in 21 days, 24 people submitted 73 individual new resources. This separates individual portraits, pairs of map sprites, but not animations of which there may be several folders worth of updates.

73 new resources in 21 days. That includes things posted on the forum, but also on the discord. I’m trying to keep up, but being nearly 30 years old means simply not having time like when I was 20, or 25.

I’m doing the best I can, it just takes me a lot of mental effort to keep up.

Guys, I’ve been meaning to ask something. Did anyone ever get around to fixing the palette inconsistencies of the Bulwark King animation?

on my end, the first frame of the hand axe animation is inconsistent. everything else is good as far as i can tell

The legendary sword/axe is borked on the ranged/dodge.

If I wanted to submit stuff from my thread to the repo would I just copy/paste the attachments from the thread to the repo? Is there like a file naming precedent for that method or does it not matter when it’s an attachment anyway

You would upload to a file hosting service like Dropbox or GitHub and link the file. Additionally, provide screenshots or previews of what you’re submitting along with credits associated with it.

For naming, there is a specific template given, I’ll edit it in once I find it.

So for mugs, I would be naming them and then attaching, right? Does the attachment retain the filename? I’ve been seeing submissions to the repo where people just attach the pngs, so I was wondering

I recommend putting things inside zip files, including mugs. If you upload to the forum it just replaces the name with idfughfsdiughfduiyghfidufgfjkhsdbfjkdsd.png

Any well-travelled soul know of a cavalier-wielding-bow map sprites? I didn’t see any in the repo, but it seems strange that they wouldn’t exist. Nomad sprites have sufficed to this point, but my soul lusts for uniformity

Yes, and it’s a good selection so it’s not an issue with the repo. I was looking for a specifically cavalier(the flasuban version is pretty close so I’ll probably end up using it) like the IS version, but just holding a bow. Unnecessarily niche request, I just wanted to check if anyone already knew of a set that already existed. But if I’m going to be this picky, I should just learn to make them myself, lol. My B
