Don’t worry, thanks for your comments. I’m happy to receive constructive criticism; it helps me improve the project.
Roy’s sword against flying units isn’t very useful, given that you have two people like Sin and Sue, who have a huge advantage thanks to their high movement, speed, and skill, as well as their use of bows and swords.
Daggers are very useful because they depend on the enemy’s magic defense, and most enemies have a higher physical defense than magic defense. Daggers are also very light and have a critical hit chance increase, as well as being indestructible and have double triangle effect bonus.
I admit, Hugh is very difficult to train on the first map he appears on because of the cavalry enemies, but as the game progresses, the number of axe enemies increases, giving him a huge advantage.
I wanted to make it difficult to train because you have characters like Karel and Lyndis who are similar to him. As I said, if you decide to invest time in him, you’ll get a stronger character with promotion, and in Fire Emblem 6, Swordmasters have a huge advantage.
Geese is easy to train thanks to his high physical defense, good speed, and HP, but I admit that, being a knight, it’s tedious to train him due to his movement, but if you do, you’ll be rewarded with a unit that’s almost invulnerable to physical attacks.
The normal difficulty has been made much easier than in the last update. Honestly, I tested it and got bored with how easy it was, which is why I’m surprised by all this, but everyone is different.
If the romhack isn’t for you, don’t worry and abandon it for something else. The first thing that matters when you play is having fun, and if Royal Army isn’t fun for you, let it go.
In the future I will honestly return to updating Royal Army, which of my three projects has been the project with the least updates, but for now this is the game, thanks for playing and for commenting.
