Hello. This is a completely insane request, but I am adding every single playable fe character into one gba rom, so I thought I’d mention some of the ones I am missing in case anyone feels like making portraits.

It’s possible I just haven’t found the f2u mugs for some of these - organization is tough with hundreds of characters

I’ve been taking portraits from the graphics repo and adding them to the self randomizer.

Artist names are included in the descriptions.

I’m currently at 600ish playable characters with portraits for about 505 of them that you people shared. Nearly got 'em all.

See the gif I posted in the first post. The player selects which game they want characters from, or they select random for a mix from all the games.

If you’re asking how I did it, the answer is “it’s complicated”.

Edit: Updated the list of what’s missing. I found about 10 portraits that I was missing from Melia’s thread
But I may have missed a few, as I haven’t played fe4/5 and I don’t recognize who’s who.

I know, and I’m not sorry. It’s not a bad portrait in a vacuum, but compared to what else is getting put in, it is. When you have Melia and RedBean getting submitted, something like this is a mold-ridden loaf of bread by comparison.

Can the FE games actually handle this many characters without bugs/crashing?

I heard a Fire Emblem 6 romhack forced you to send units home for free Spirit Dust to avoid bugs.

You’re talking about the FE6 remake, right? Well, that was made in FE8’s engine, and you can only have 50 playable characters in that game before units start to disappear from your roster. You can have a maximum of 63, but it involves ExModularSave and all that jazz.

sacred echoes portraits are F2U with credit so that should make everything set for the echoes side of things (if im wrong or this is outdated my bad, but im pretty sure of this)
