Oh god.
Anyway v1.3.0 contains a few misc. story updates in line with Bobby’s suggested changes (I spaced them out a bit since I had a few pockets of space to do so, like the Gold/Archer interludes and Endless Eight).
I have finished dies and become lives again so here is a map tier list
Summary
Some of this is based more on which sentence fits the chapter most rather than best to worst chapters.
Some units and thoughts:
Contains spoilers
For some time after getting Vyland, I sent Lesk to the “arena” 3 times per chapter since each hit allowed him to drink 2 potions. Raising his growths 6 times in preps… By the lategame he had pretty much the best stats.
Copied stats from Lose, and then was fun to use!
The first time I used Loog was Scraiza’s chapter, where after getting through the first few parts of the map, especially after getting one of the Dusting Lances to help with capturing, I had him slowly capture every enemy left and sell their items so he became super rich. Gold too, she got to steal and sell all the bows that Loog got.
I like Bobby’s skills.
And also appearances in the story, learning about all the forum users.
Roxas was very good with the Otherworlder firearm and a mercy scroll.
Ignis
The Spaghettimancer. Myson carried against Lose and Ashley was good in Church Bad and the endgame map.
Only used her once, to teleport the behemoth close to the final boss and that was cool.
I liked her conversation with Bobby in Lose lol
I thought using the Mirror Ring to give Sigma accesss to firearms would help but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea in the end, it made it harder for him to climb stairs and didn’t give him any of the benefits of having a horse.
The Flight of the Raven chapter was fun. Also it’s funny that the game considers Sigma the MVP for it.
A unit that seems to randomly have a lot of good skills useful for endgame! Made me wonder if Darrman’s summons other than Archie had special events for them.
This character sure exists.
I trained Trybel mostly by attacking Sigma in Flight of the Raven’s first phase but then didn’t use these kirbies much in endgame.
Strong bunny!
Helps a lot by existing, nice
Very powerful
Very powerful
ReversCard’s stats
Alguien looks incredibly cool
I made sure to pay mercenary every time despite never really using Epicer.
I gave gold a lot of skills (the 3 strength is from getting hit by one of the things that reduce a random stat in the endgame)
The GOAT??? It was really very cool to be in the shoes of Samson Burger King!
It was meant to be an antelope btw, I guess that’s part of the “getting a misinterpreted wish” thing or something like that.
Krim is the most goated, of course.
now this is a fucking clear
tsk tsk tsk unoptimal ch. 12
So true Kit ao true
im disappointed in all of you motherfuckers for saying absolutely nothing about the rabbit animations
Due to a critical mass of complaints (1), v1.3.1 will now have forced anims on for boss battles.
Can you add a secret gaiden to dies
there already is one
so, a question, for chapter 4/5, the defense/escape map, is there anything special if you keep the settler who learns a skill from rivian alive, or is it just flavor/their skill useage makes them easier to kill
there’s a battle quote with rivian
ah, part of me was hoping for more but oh well, completed chap 5, was a very, very rough chapter, but i got everything and avoided any deaths, only 1 traumatized
You’re intended to be able to do this.
You do it at your own risk.
noted, ive pawned it to ignis the moment I could anyway so gold remains mobile
…I do really want to try to make reversecard work in this run, which means feeding them kills
holy fuck E tier (sorry for being late)
~~Thats the opposite of what you want~~
how do promos work, are they explained on a later chapter, is it simply “reach X level” like FE4, or something else
also Im just assuming this, but just to be sure, can ‘wanderer’ class promo to something? spoiler if needed
