I’m trying to learn AI ig and one day hopefully I’ll give some commissions to a talented artist but for now, I’m stuck with AI. According to the FEU policy, AI generated assets(here art) is allowed, however it has to be F2U or F2E and I can’t take ownership if someone else can replicate my prompt.
If you want to use these assets for something, please feel free to do so.

We need an AI tag on FEU so this slop doesn’t flashbang my feed, I don’t want to see this. It would make muting this kind of thing easier and filter out AI projects for disinterested folks.
That’s a very interesting piece of work you have there! Between that and your channel it’s clear you have some kind of creative flare. I think it would be worth your while to put that creative energy into learning how to do that sort of art yourself, without having to lean on AI for support. It’s easy to start if you know how, and the sooner the better
The “ai” tag already exists on FEU and is already attached to this thread.
That said, I do think a tag filtration system should be considered. While I’m not specifically against gen-AI myself, I do take issue with calling AI-generated images “art” and would sooner recommend the term “assets” or “illustrations” on a factual level.
Worst comes to worst, if people here don’t appreciate what you’re doing, I can always refer you in DMs to alternative avenues to share your material where you won’t get so much pushback.
For better or worse, FEUniverse has a substantial fixation on the artistic aspects of fangame creation, so it should come as no surprise that many of its members are unreceptive to this sort of thing. That is a stance to which they are entitled, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have somewhere or someone to talk to about AI-generated materials. It is not a skill. We do not refer to writing a paragraph as a ‘skill.’ We call it writing a paragraph. You write prompts.
When I say things like this people tend to get upset so let me nip it in the bud - I am not being rude. I am reaffirming a standard. AI, used for art or otherwise, is stealing other people’s work. We do not call that a skill. We call it plagiarism.
So in my mind I am being quite nice as I could also push for AI users to be referred to as plagiarists. I’m settling for refusing the idea anything related to it is a ‘skill.’
Edit: I also want to add I am not talented at art. In fact if our personal skills were FE stats my ‘art’ stat would be, at best, a 4/30. Maybe 5 on a good day. So it is not like I am looking down at others who are bad at art. I too wish I could impart what is on my mind into reality.

You want art for free, without having to learn how to draw and without having to work with (or god forbid pay) an artist for it. Don’t pretend you’re cultivating some tough new skill, there’s no point to it. You’re engaging in a hobby that deliberately bypasses any and all skill requirements. You don’t have to be ashamed by that, but you’re going to look fucking ridiculous if you try to argue with people online that you’re actually a very skilled individual when you tell the computer to make a picture for you.
Just own what you’re doing and the reasons behind it. It’s never going to be popular on a forum like this, for good reason, but if you care enough, at least be honest about what you’re up to instead of trying to pretend you’re doing something you’re not. You are getting art for free from a computer. You’re not a skilled get-art-from-computer-er any more than I’m a skilled get-videos-from-youtube-er when I find videos I want to watch, and that’s fine.
Trust me knowing how to ask AI to give you the right answer is a skill. Having enough knowledge to correct it is a skill. Knowing to use the right AI tool is a skill.Sure it isn’t as hard as making original art, music , asm. I’ll be honest, I’d love to do these stuff without using A.I if I could and claim it as my own stuff. I’d love to pay artists and other people the money they deserve if they work for me.
AI is a tool, people used to hate calculators in 1986 when they are invented, claiming that it would weaken math skills of kids and other people who use it. But now the whole world uses calculators.
People weren’t sure if the internet wasn’t going to be useful when it was made, now it’s almost a basic need. We are having this discussion because of the internet
I understand that people hate new stuff and change, but it’s eventually going to be better or atleast that’s what I hope will happen.
If FEU isn’t going to accept it. I’ll just post A.I stuff somewhere else, where it’s accepted.
I try to get by without them these days, but that’s b/c I actively find the process of breaking down simple math problems into smaller simple math problems engaging.

I couldn’t get it exactly the way I wanted it as a gba insertable potrait, so for now maybe u r better off creating them on your own, luckily that’s pretty simple…
As always use vanilla mugs or F2E mugs(if the creator is ok with it) for ur prompts…
