Her portrait is cursed. I think it’s every one of your portrait @SawyersSkemes. You’ll have to put some mouth frames and blinking frames even if they’re all same.

There’s still a lot left to do. This is probably the final update I’m giving. After this, I’ll just release a demo patch with playable cast.

easy fix: make the mouth and eye portraits out of the portrait, so it’s not effected

Amazing prf gotta train her tho but she will definitely be the best thief out the group with her Prf and Custom class.

Lol 0 res but does she have all weapons or only Axes and Lances?

Edit:ya I lowered Arthur’s spd by 20% and made his def and res increase by 10% and

You’ll have to make it and give it to me. I cannot use Usenti or other character creator applications. Either that or I’ll just leave the portraits as they are.

She had -5 Res bane and armor knights don’t have any resistance in their base stats. Yes, she can only use lance and axes but she’ll be able to use every weapon once she promotes into a Marshall.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Spur Skill and Trace doesn’t exist in FEBuilder skill system. You might have to replace it. Also…

Gridmaster is banned. I should have done this sooner but I didn’t realise it was so broken.

Trace doesn’t exist? Weird, because I’m currently remastering fe8 for a personal project and it’s the personal skill of one of my chars.

here’s my method of fixing the portraits

it’s hard to see but it is circling the mouth and eye positions, and all are set to 10

Is transformation animation really important to you? Because I’m at my wits end rn. I anticipated this was gonna be hard but take a look at this..

I’ll need help with this. Palettes are messed up. I’ve tried importing animations again and again with your palettes and they don’t show up in the animation. Very strange.

I know about that bro. That’s how I edited all the mouth and blinking frames. Your portraits will appear alright in the cutscene but they’ll be messed up in the unit profile because I’m using a patch which makes unit blink in the portrait.

@ReturnOfTheBlackKnight i think your problem is that enemies use a seperate pallet from players. try making it a player unit and see if that fixes it

Player and enemy unit share the same palette but I’ll check it once more.

Also about the portrait issue. Take a look at this:

This portrait doesn’t have blinking or talking frames but it looks just fine in profile. Here’s the crucial distinction, I believe.

those were my first ever portraits so i decided to repurpose them. that’s why sawyer portrait has frames

Sawyer also has an incomplete portrait. Because of lack of frames in the question mark area, they will appear blank occasionally. For example, once he’s fine like this.


Then the blinking frames kick in which you’ve not formatted properly.

This is the result.

I wish I could run the image editor to fix this but I can’t.

i decided to fix it on my testing rom and yeah i was correct about what the issue was

Did he transform mid-battle? That’s the issue. Even I can do it without including the transforming animation.
