Hi there. I created this account over a year ago to ask a simple question so I’m not “new” but I’m still new if you get what I’m saying . So hello everyone!
I have a project I’ve been working on for that entire year that I want to submit. Tomorrow specifically (birthday release). But I want to make sure I’m doing it right. I got all the credits in line, I got the patches ready, Dropbox link prepared, initial post is drafted and ready to drop. But I’m not 100% confident on WHERE to post it.
I’m assuming I just make a thread in the “Projects” category and submit my drafted post. I read about a trust system that may or may not let me post links though (I’ve only posted twice before this). I also read about a project repository that sounds like you have to add your mod to it yourself?
Yep, I’m definitely new lol. Any clarity or help on these issues wold be appreciated. Been looking forward to this for months. It’ll be my very first (and likely only) public release.
Here’s a formal welcome and I’m very excited to try your project! In the infamous words of UltraxBlade I am just a player not a developer nor a wizard. So I cannot help you with the question, but I hope someone else does!
Well then, after surviving that welcome bomb and coughing out smoke, I have confirmed that I cannot post links yet.
Hopefully it won’t take much to get there. I really wanted to drop this mod today. I guess I should have taken the time to look into this weeks ago instead of 2 days ago
