There is a character that already has Duelist’s Blow as a level up skill, so while you can have it as a level up skill, you’ll need to choose a different personal skill.

Lumina uses the highest magic rank of the unit, and since Swordmasters have no access to magic, it won’t work. If you want Ozaki to use light magic, you’d need either a custom personal skill that uses Ozaki’s sword rank to determine her light magic rank or a class that has access to both swords and light magic (like the Blademaster class that Xihe has). In the latter case, you’ll need a new personal skill.

In addition to the enemies on the map, there are additional monster reinforcements (all of whom move unprovoked), each of which are announced the turn before by a scripted event where Hapi sighs. On Easy/Normal, both the announcement and the reinforcement spawn occurs at the start of Player Phase; on Hard, this occurs on the start of Enemy Phase on the same turn. They are as follows:

  • Turn 3, a squad consisting of 1 Lv4 Gwyllgi with Hellfang and 3 Lv12 Mauthe Doog with Fiery Fang, from the top right of the map (Hapi sighs turn 2).
  • Turn 5, 2 squads consisting of 1 Lv5 Wight with Silver Lance and 3 Lv13 Bonewalkers, one with Steel Lance and Wind Sword, one with Steel Sword and Short Spear and one with Killer Bow each from the top right and bottom right respectively (Hapi sighs turn 4).
  • Turn 7, a squad consisting of 1 Lv6 Deathgoyle with Killer lance, 1 Lv2 Arch Mogall with Crimson Eye, 3 Lv14 Gargoyles with Steel Lance and 2 Lv11 Mogalls with Evil Eye from the bottom left of the map (Hapi sighs turn 6).
  • Turn 9, all three above sets simultaneously in addition to 1 Lv6 Draco Zombie with Wretched Air from right of Hapi’s starting position (Hapi sighs frustratedly on turn 8).
