Yeah, that happens sometimes. Probably related to the patch I use for the promotions but I’m not sure about the specifics or how to fix it.

Didn’t happen for the other ones, but trying it again it works. Huh. How strange.

Games are weird.

Exia is definitely not fit for the arena. Things will scale up and out-damage his defence and he gets doubled.

There seems to be a bug where cant play Za’albul marsh where Rune walks on on screen the whole game freezes. I tried skipping the scene but it atill freezes

So, I tried this with Amos who had no infinite weapon and the issue still persisted. His steel lance switched to Javelin (Second weapon in his inventory).

Game froze.

EDIT 3 : When you go into monster skirmish then the chapter that took place there will restart. For example, when you fight at Bethroen then the chapter will restart and your Ashnard disappears from the playable cast and becomes enemy.

(Same for Aldas plains)

Been levelling everyone to 20 promoted because I’m a crazy idiot, so that’s fun.

  • Is Tulli supposed to be tiny enough to only have 1 CON? My.
  • Ragnarok’s scythe weapon does in fact not contain a scythe animation. Curses.
  • Yue’s Observer class does not stop at 10. Oh dear. …She doesn’t even need it. Level 10/10 and 3 stats capped. Holy hell.
  • …As previously mentioned, yeah, doing a skirmish on the …chapter 11 place (I forget the map name) just causes it to load up the chapter.

Raise the flag works similarly than taker skills, acting as a spectrum taker so making it based on Vesly’s taker skills, he already has the ASM done so it should be easily doable (I know basically nothing about how ASM works so I might be getting over my head)

While at it I worked on this using BuskHusker’s Sheena for a more proper portrait ( I’ve forsaken finishing doing the back hair properly because I simply am not competent enough at shading and I was self deprecating myself at that point) So hope Ragnarok looks better

More glitches! …glitch. singular.

  • (Ch. 14A) Recruiting Delilah locks the game up.
  • (Ch. 10B) Another softlock during end cutscene when the ‘L’Arachel’ group pops up.
  • Not especially a glitch, per se, but it’s weird that both of the Dozla replacements are level 10 prepromotes.
  • (Ch. 14B) It would seem that Beam is, in fact, a Rogue.

So, apparently, our friends at IS, in a stroke of brilliance, decided to use the same events to recruit Rennac regardless of the route. Which means that while trying to make one recruitment, I was screwing the other. Joy.

Zienfall isn’t a prepromote, though (but CwnAnnwn was a glitch).

Also, Velvet, do you remember that update you made to your Female Summoner animation? Well, it seems in the process you modified the palette order of the magic animation, so now its different from the staff one and making a character palette for it is… well, an issue.

I keep forgetting which of the ‘Centaur’ classes is the promoted one. Oops.

Ah, the update was done up a few days after the original before it was touched up by anyone. I assume they never noticed it was updated, and I had no reason to check since the animation was made specifically for one of my characters. Sorry about that ;_;

Im not sure if its a glitch or not but when promotiong Siara from sage her promotion is still a sage which kinda makes you able to keep promoting her to sage over and over again and still gaining the promotion gains each time. Is
Siara supposed to be able to promote to arch sage?

That was a random idea I had while messing with the promotion patch: making characters in their final class being able to promote into that same class to gain extra levels and stats.

It’s kind of an experiment, and I’m not sure if I’ll keep it on the long run.

You didn’t mention wanting that, so she isn’t. I can change it if you want.

Essentially Second Seal functionality from Awakening and stuff then? Hmmm. Perhaps that patch that pulls up stats to the base stats of a class instead of promotion bonuses could be used then so they’d only go up upon promotion?

Can you apply a patch where the weapon might depends upon strength not con or anything ? Just like Fire Emblem PoR. It just sounds so realistic.

Of course the same applies for the enemies. Which means people won’t be able to cheese enemy myrmidons with iron blade or armourslayer.
