Man, if Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones was one of the Nintendo GBA games to be included in the Nintendo Switch online subscription, we could have at least on FE GBA game on the Nintendo Switch.
You have to love it when you boot up FE7, wanting to play it for a nostalgia trip, and then the game helpfully guides you through a tutori- I mean, Lyn campaign before you get to the main story! And of course, the game decides for you that you have to play with Eliwood on normal difficulty before you’re ready for the big boy modes.
That’s so thoughtful FE7! I really needed to play Lyn Normal Mode, and Eliwood Normal Mode, and Hector Normal Mode, just so that I could play on the difficulty I actually wanted to play. Thanks for making that decision for me!
Is this really a good idea? I feel like a lot of people really like fe7 & I personally have respect for it for introducing fe to a broader audience and how it helped shaped all the games which came after.
Like can we have the freedom to pick which fe game we diss? It feels a bit unbalanced for the entire thread to be “FE7 is bad” without at least sharing the love a little.
Anyways: “Oh no my dad died! Time to go wage a campaign on a massive evil empire!”
(There, now you don’t know which game i’m criticizing )
