‘Am I insane’? What kind of a question is that?! Of course I am, duh.

So it turns out my brain is having trouble writing things right now and I want to work on ‘something’, so that’s where this stupid thing comes in, a PME where EVERYONE is a Wyvern Rider or Wyvern Lord. Any question? Yes? Well good for you, moving right on.

I could probably go back to the other PME, buuuut y’know, writing. As I was basically trying to rewrite the whole game in some small fashion… it doesn’t really mesh well with writer’s block. It’s basically functionally complete in gameplay though, so that’s success enough for me right now.

The only viable class? Wyvern Rider (And Wyvern Lord), I might do sword and axe variants, and maybe the Wyvern Knight class (+15 Crit skill, probably)

I will not be doing bosses, nor will any big rewriting happen.

…Should the characters be made like… non-exclusive? That is, both Wallace and Geitz appear in both maps, that sorta thing.

I was going to be evil and make it so that you have no thieves, but I might instead have like, the Matthew and Legault replacements able to do thief things. Let me know if you’d like no thieves or not, I won’t be adding more keys to compensate if it’s a no, hehehe~

Supports will probably maybe exist, so feel free to choose who you want to support with-- I’m not rewriting these either, they’ll just be for bonuses.

  • EVERYONE is a Wyvern class! Class list below~

  • Boons and banes of +/- 5 to stats, only excluding movement, constitution is fair game (That will only be a +/- 3 instead).

  • I’d still prefer no meme units since I’m still obsessed with new ideas and actual characters, but right now I’m on the fence on it. Depends on if people put forward something interesting or just the same Zane portrait I’ve seen many times over.

Stuff! Uh… Well all of the groundwork’s laid out, patches with stuff like seeing growths if you press Select, HP bars, disabling the tutorial-- all that fun stuff, along with making every promotion item in the game either an Elysian Whip, Earth Seal or Heaven Seal, all of which just promote all of the Wyvern classes, no real distinction aside from price.

I might possibly be stealing a character slot, buuuut we’ll have to see, and moving on to characters~

Farewell Lyn, we now have Angel… twice! The second is the ‘Eliwood/Hector mode’ version if you don’t level her enough or just outright skip ‘Lyn mode’

Heck of a lot of STR, ooh. Definitely going murder bad guys if she ends up hitting them, that’s for sure. Especially with that Killer Axe.

45% over in terms of total growths, a bit much! Wyverns are powerful enough as is, hehehe.

I got Gungnir working and… nothing… seems to have exploded yet, so uh, I guess that’s a yes?

Blimey, 2555 colours, that’s… a lot to fit into such a small space.
And moving right on-- Her growths are 35% too many it seems~
…unfortunately, due to the repaletted animations none of the vanilla palettes will work as is, oh dear.

We’ll see. I am very supremely lazy and want to use the least effort possible I can here.

All three have the same description: A knight serving under Travant.

Thanks for mentioning that the portrait has too many colors. I can give you another one but heads up it just needs to be scaled down. I used a site that would scale the image down but it looked weird as I thought it added too much color. The dimensions are 1280 x 1120

Doesn’t need a Delphi Shield to survive Battle Before Dawn. Jaffar’s ridiculous personal bases combined with low enemy quality and Runeswords ensures Narcian can survive without issue, as long as he has enough weapons to go around with. Even with the nerfed Runesword against a reinforcement Sniper.
