Ive been getting really back into f.e hacks and roms and want to know if its best to have a copy of fe8 for every rom or if i can open every rom with the same copy
You can use copies of the same FE8 ROM as a base to patch hacks with.

Just copy and paste a clean FE8 rom. Patch it and name it whatever the hack is.
I got an app on my phone that does the patching called unipatcher and it creates the copy after patching so that works too
