me and mike share the same spinal alignment. it’s beautiful:

i know you said you made this to learn FEBuilder, so if i point out any critiques, i’m just gonna point out some technical things/potential glitches in case they’re unintentional and can be learned from:

prologue/ch1:

• “minoxodil” popping up as a location card as the first thing in ch1 killed me irl. that was awesome lol
• “X for an amazing reason” is another favorite of mine lol. dan hentschel the goat
• absolutely love the map sprites for mike and joel, especially joel’s different sprites depending on if he’s going horizontal or vertical
• the mike killer weapon killed the cat (and i presume could kill everyone else) in one hit too
• loving the gags throughout ch1. generally you can assume that i enjoyed like every joke/gag in this game
• mike’s ranged crit kills the battle music LOL, not sure if that’s intended
• often during cutscenes, transitions into and out of the game map happen so fast i’m like never able to see what’s happening on the map before suddenly a background+portraits for conversation pop up

ch2:

• when i went to press R and open the info menu for BRANDON in ch2, it booted me back to the startup screen, but after that happening exactly once i can’t recreate it and i can check BRANDON just fine? im not sure if it was a bug and somehow i cant recreate it, or if this is an advanced joke my brain is too small for
• i stepped on the square, fuck me
• the general that comes as a reinforcement after you save the people locked up in ch2 doesn’t have enough weapon rank to use his spear
• sometimes in chapter 2, when i move all my units, it just hangs and i’m stuck unless i press B, it kicks me to the title screen, and i reload my suspend point? i don’t know what causes it, it happens on random turns and i played ch2 twice and it happened on different turns

ch3:

• attacking the first elder bael in ch3 at 1 range with joel’s long strap also hung my game, but for forever this time had to manually X out and relaunch the game and suspend point
• kamala goes hard
• definitely stealing that leitmotif for my own music
• poor bomb guy, i did want him to blow up
• no chapter 3 in the turncount totals at the end LOL
• this is all reminding me i need to get around to playing deltarune chapters 3 + 4

final thoughts:

i related to the cowboy who is gay as in homosexual. this game was nice to take my mind off of more serious games + making my own for a bit lol, i had a good time turning my brain off and just throwing all my OP units into the middle of everything an enemy phasing the game. i wonder if there’s any chance in hell mike or joel could ever be convinced to play this; i only watch vinny, and i know he’s done plenty of SMW romhacks and some pokemon, but i dunno what all joel and mike do.

joel and mike’s map and combat animations were awesome.

i really hope that all the possible glitches/strange stuff i pointed out weren’t intentional and make me look like a fool

Dark bradon just crashes the game sometime and I have no idea why! My guess is its some weirdness with Summon. Same for Joel’s ranged attack softlocking, I have all the correct things in place for it, so I’m assuming its something with the hand axe hack included with FEbuilder?
Mike said he would play it once he gets me on a call to explain to grandpa how MGBA works.
Ive since fixed some of the glithces in the newest patch and set the mike killer to not move turn one. He was set to target mike but I guess that gets overidden when the AI sees a kill
