His class is “Silent Dragon”. But he’s a father of Lilith who is an Astral Dragon. But then there’s Moro, who is said to be the forefather of the Astral Dragons so it cannot be Anankos.

His one of the first dragons and he was once a Astral dragon but he then went into a change and became the silent dragon or also called The Mad Dragon/The Buried Dragon/The Dragon Of Wisdom.
He’s a member of the first dragons, who, while capable of extraordinary feats (one called Moro made a bunch of star systems iirc), are inferior to dragons like Naga per Anankos’s own admission.
But then again Naga got killed off by Grima, so they aren THAT powerful. Making stars sounds way more awesome.
I do not think Fates makes a distinction between dragon types, and that rather “silent dragon” and “buried dragon” and such are titles with “astral dragon” being described as "
A dragon of the Astral Plane." Implying that it’s not an inherent type of dragon but rather something that a dragon can be.
You do have the God of Fire, Ice, etc. And the Dusk and Dawn dragons who are Dark/Light.
