there are pretty well made FE4 japanese rom hacks exploring the story had the protagonist been of another bloodline instead of sigurd. they were called geneology of fala/tordo/neir ect. in some of them alvis is playable and on your side. i can’t read japanese but i assume the story reflected too. gameplay was pretty fire from what i remember

I would love to play Genealogy of Tordo, but it’s only in Japanese… maybe one dsy when I can read that language better.

tordo was the best one, i think a lot of people played the game regardless of not knowing the language since you probably know the controls/menu options from repeated FE4 playthroughs. additionally FE4 was a game that primarily told its story through gameplay, i dont need to know read japanese to know what i had just finished playing. i likely missing out on finer details, but worth the price IMO
