Funny, I upgraded to a 16 GB laptop just this weekend. Used to have an 8 GB one previously.

I only dabble in romhacking a little but I thought i’d throw in my few cents. It at least seems to run pretty well on my computer.

After a few tradgedies, I learned to save my progress in multiple places at once. I have the original work on my PC but I have a backup copy on Dropbox and another backup copy on my Smartphone which is always with me wherever I go and can be backed up again as needed. :sweat_smile:

I started doing this when I once lost my Dropbox copy and tried to get it from my PC only to have it die on me at that exact time, costing me my entire project along with all the 9ther stuff on my PC that wasn’t uploaded to Dropbox… I was devastated :sob:

Meh have a rtx 3050 4gb, 16gb ram for my bachelors dont really play rom hack in my laptop. I prefer my mobile in my boy. To be honest i really never get used to playing in pc only time i play is LT rom hacks.

While I don’t dev anything, I have been interested for awhile. More like making simple edits to FE8 for fun than anything serious. 4GB sounds rough, I hope you can get something better suited to your needs!

My ram is 16GB my graphics card is 4gb :sweat_smile:. I apologise for the confusion i though it was written clearly enough
