Vision Quest first play and I need guidance

Hi, First time playing Vision quest and I have several questions and if you have anything wlse I should know please let me know, with no spoilers please.

1- At the moment Im in book 2 with the chickens in the port. I have tries several times but for no aval i have been able to save the chickens. What do I actually get if I save the chicken and is that useful?

2- Best way to get everything in that level, saving the chickens and all?

3- At the moment I have promoted Storch, Lera, Arckady, Marlen, Onisim. But they are recently promoted with level 1 or 2 promoted and also I promoted them when they reach level 20.

On level 17 I have Vagelis, Esfir,.
On level 16 I have Larisa
On level 15 I have Titus and Gunner
On level 13 Osane and Zoya.

Is there anyone I should be focusing more and giving more levels and someone I should just send to the ban and sit?

4- Stats Boost Items have been going mainly main character Storch or Lena. Next Boost stats Who should I focus in giving them?

Any other advise will be greatly appreciated

Haven’t you heard? Vision Quest is overhyped.

Saving all the chickens is tough, for sure. I recall the paladin you get near the end of Book 1 being useful here, just in terms of being able to move far quickly and save an endangered chicken

Saving all the chickens are optional. VQ’s rewards are generally not high impact, so don’t feel like you have to do it.

As for who to use, go with what the RNG tells you. Growths are kind of coinflippy so there are few hard and fast rules on who to use IMO

I will not flood with another post so will asked here. Which is the best supports story wise and best supports for stat boosts in this game?

I believe the reward was an energy ring.

The chicken in the top right is pretty safe once you kill everything near it, the ones in the most danger (in my experience) were the ones closer to the bottom of the map, and the one on the left because I wasn’t paying attention to the pegasus reinforcements. I had to push pretty aggressively to rescue them with a flier and pull them back. That might be an issue for you since you don’t seem to have one.

I’m your case I’d probably try and use Marlen for that job.

If you haven’t been using it much, don’t be afraid to use your warp staff a little on this.
