To be honest, I don’t even like/play as/care about the Ice Climbers all that much, but the idea of them wobbling (the name of an infamous infinite combo in SSBM) was too funny to pass up, and so I made a whole set! And yeah the magic animation looks pretty bad, but I got lazy and gave up on it lol. The animation is mostly an edit of FE8 Journeyman.

And a Goomba animation! Tried to match how intense the FE8 monsters look while still keeping the inherent whimsy/silly-ness of the Goomba intact. Next up is probably a Metroid? Or maybe a Zelda monster?
Did all of these months ago, but never got around to posting it because of work. So anyhoo here’s a PkMN Trainer animation with some more spell animations of Pokemon. All of the spell animation GIFS don’t quite match how they actually animate in the ROM when ported, but I don’t feel like recording a video showing how they look/sound in-game. If you want to use them in your own hacks for whatever reason, the files will be in the Google Drive. F2E + F2U as usual
PkMN Trainer Magic Casting animation. Based off Red. The sprites could use a fine tuning though.
Pikachu: Uses Pokemon Ranger Sprites + Gen 3 FX.
Charizard: Uses Pokemon Ranger Sprites + Gen 3 FX. The GIF that FEBuilder extracted here misplaces the fire effect when Charizard is attacking, but when put into the rom, the fire effect is actually centred properly on Charizard.
Lucario: Uses Pokemon Ranger Sprites.
Mewtwo: Uses Pokemon Ranger Sprites + Gen 3 FX. Like Charizard, the attack effects don’t display correctly when exported as a GIF, so the ShadowBalls don’t look weirdly ‘stretched’ when put in an actual ROM.
Incineroar: I had to sprite this from scratch, although I can’t match the “Pokemon Ranger” sprites to save my life
Greninja: Also had to sprite from scratch. There’s smoke effects that appear when he does the pose which covers him before he disappears, but the FE Builder ‘extract as gif’ feature got lazy I guess. But it’s there tho I swear
Aight so I started making sprites for some other random Nintendo mobs. The Metroid and Stalfos only have the one still frame, and the Stalfos is an edit of the FE8 Bonewalker sprites. The Metroid still doesn’t quite blend in with the other FE GBA style sprites I think.
Okay so I had the sword animation for this guy finished for a while now, but then the Mega Man Star Force collection came out mid-way through me making the Lance animation, and I accidentally got obsessed with trying to get very trophy for it, whoopsies. (Currently on SF3). Before animating, I made up two versions of the sprite, one based off the N64 art and one based off the 3DS model, and in the end I felt the 3DS design was more recognizable.
Sword animation is mostly an edit of the FE8 Bonewalker sprites. Wanted to make them kinda big like in OoT. Also had the idea to have the skeleton twist itself backwards from swinging, and struggle to twist it’s body back during the ‘return’. With the sound FX I put in the .txt file, the twist-back has a nice feel to it. Figured I might as well throw in that “Skeleton banging shield/yelling” meme while I was at it.
Now because the Bonewalkers use both hands for their lance animation, I figured I might as well try and give it a new animation instead.
Almost forgot I made this, but there’s also a ‘class card’/portrait for them as well that is insert-able. I took the art/pose from one of the Smash Games for this one since I can’t really replicate FE-style class card sprites yet.
