This is my first time posting my dabbling into the FE hacking world, and while it’s not much, I’d love to take a moment to share what little I have so far with a little project I’ve been building up It’s still in its very early stages, so I honestly wasn’t sure if I wanted to share anything yet or not, but I thought it would be more fun to do so than keep it all to myself!
Once upon a time, the people of the Kingdom of Aurevelle lived in peace.
But when its King suddenly passed away, two Princes, each born from a different Queen, laid claim to the same throne. The Kingdom found itself torn apart in a bloody civil war. The White Ravens took up arms for one Prince, while the Black Ravens took up arms for the other, and before long, blood spilled across the land.
Yet amid all this, there was one name both feared and cursed above all others.
The Witch.
Some say she cursed the King to his death, while others insist she was the one who started the civil war. Many believe she would gladly watch all of Aurevelle burn.
Whatever the truth may be…
Few know she was once just a girl who loved a Prince. A Prince who betrayed her.
Been a while since I posted here! Here is a small(?) update on the project!
The first four chapters are mostly done! They do still need some ironing out here and there.
Once the fifth chapter is finished, I might publish a small demo for some feedback, maybe!
9 characters would be playable in this ‘demo’ if it ever came to be! All of them have different classes.
Currently planning on making two armies, one following a Witch, and the other following a young Prince. No idea how that would turn out, but we’ll see!
Uploaded some new screenshots + Updated the description of the story to fit the vision of the project more
Chapter 4 is like 90% done now, which gives me more time to focus on chapter 5. I have the characters who should join the party in that chapter done and ready, so that’s fun.
Oh wow, I REALLY do like that ost! It’s so dramatic, which fits the vibe of story very well, haha.
It’s a little funny you posted this cause I was just in the middle of trying to find music to add onto the project. I have few added already, but I’m not sure if it’s enough.
Back to the ost you posted, I know I can turn it into an MP3 file, which then would allow me to add it to the game. I do worry it might take too much space on the game file, so that is something I’ll need to be careful about.
I really like the portraits, did you create them yourself? Regardless, I like the simplistic designs of the characters so far. Similar to the original FE GBA games. I look forward to trying this out.
Like 98% of the the credit goes back to their original makers here in the community. I did recolor most of them though just so they’ll feel a little special for this project xD And I added blinking or mouth frames for portraits which didn’t have them, but that’s about it!
