Holy cannoli, it’s Simeon in real life.

And you used Plato, too?!

Absolutely incredible team line-up, I love it.

Just completed my first playthrough of this fabulous hack. The story was 10/10, even if a certain event was gut wrenching and absolutely destroyed me for 5+ chapters.

Questions about Postgame and Second Playthrough.

Do I have to complete all the postgame chapters in order to save a certain character in New Game+? Is there a special NG+ save file I need to create? Or can I just start the NG+ run right away on an empty save file?

Are there any story rewards for doing the extra chapters, or is it just a playground for your overpowered units?

No.

No.

I haven’t played the postgame so this may not be 100% accurate but the postgame has a very comedic and even memey story.

Chapter 13 of my second playthrough:

I feel like you were either trying to play really close to the unit limit, or just went overboard with adding units without knowing how close you were to the limit. Maybe you could’ve done a bit more management with the units here.

For example, programming the game not to deploy the cavalier reinforcements for the non-bandit armies until the same flag that triggers one of the sides to swap to green is hit. Or take an idea from FE13’s Paralogue 13 and only have half of the still-an-enemy army’s units deploy when you take a side.

And speaking of unit limits, was this always a glitch that could happen, or did you add this in the new update? Because before it just gave the Other Unit boss +25 constitution.

Also I thought there was an Other Unit limit of 10 in the GBA game engine, but when I reset and resumed there were still like a dozen green cavaliers.

Fructoso is quite good at lots of aspects, eg, you can use him to protect Apate to ensure her safety with curing others at front; you will recruit Lorenzo at late game, and he has a hidden skill(will reveal after recruiting) to get str, skl and spd x1.5 with half or lower hp; easier help weak character get exp like pheme in NG+…

I have never seen that happen for anyone before and I certainly have not changed the functionality of this event. Did you do anything out of the ordinary, in some capacity?

I would recommend spoiler tagging this.

Fruct has provoke, which makes enemy siege way easier to deal with. He also lets you do some stupidly aggressive stuff with your glass cannons, since provoke lets you chop the number of attacks said glass cannons are facing on EP down from 1-3 to 0-2.

I meet problem that in chp8, Orlaith should come to Kyra after commanded by Fiadh, and Kyra talk to recruit, is it the way to recruit her? I watch others playthrough, they will get her, but for my case, I will actually get her, but she will vanish at later chapters, is it a bug or? after recruiting her she would be waiting in camp, so Kyra can talk something with her, but in my game she just didnt exist after chp 8, in both first game and NG+.

This, too, is something I’ve never seen before. Are you certain you talked to her and she survived the chapter?

No, I just waited until Turn 13 for the game to hit the 50 enemy unit limit to stop farming bandits, and then started the turn attacking and killing an aligned unit. It might have something to do with Other Unit limits, which I swear was supposed to be 10.

Also the Great Knight reinforcement didn’t appear when I started attacking.

Yes for sure, chapter 8 starts, turn 1 ends, and Fiadh told Orlaith to seek some reinforcement to east, and then orlaith walk without attacking by enemies, Kyra talk to her, kill the boss and talk to Fiadh.

And in camp before starting chp9, orlaith should be sitting next to Fiadh and Kyra can talk to her, asking her something (I see it from others walkthrough on youtube btw). But for my case, she just vanished. When I finished first run, I get back all recruitable characters, it reminds me I didnt recruit orlaith. However when I play NG+, I realized that i had recruited her…

That just sounds like the normal sequence of events, which has never been reported to be bugged in any way before. I’ve also been trying to replicate your issue on my end and I can’t manage it.

I can’t think of any possible reason this could be happening for you. I’m going to have to chalk it up to an emulator bug of some kind, or perhaps Órlaith dying without you noticing. I’m sorry.

As for this, however - Yeah, I’ve been able to replicate it. The Other Unit limit is 20 thanks to the Expanded Modular Save patch (that’s also how I’m able to have over 60 playable units by the end of postgame), and this is enough for the enemies on the field at the start of chapter 13 and even some extra. However, if you wait around until all faction reinforcements have appeared, this pushes them over 20, and when they turn green this eats up the margrave.

It’s a pretty extreme edge case and I don’t think anyone’s actually managed to see this before. Good catch! Fortunately, it should be easy to fix. Thank you for reporting it.

Have you lost any units in your run so far (other than Orlaith due to this bug)? Maybe some event that only fires if X unit is dead accidentally deletes Orlaith?

Finished the chapter, and it doesn’t seem like the recruitable units are affected by being deleted from the map. Simeon and Dahl joined just fine.

Are Dancers normally considered non-promoted units?

(Spoilers for a second playthrough)

When should I kill my Soter? I was thinking he should have his end at Sandy’s hand in the jailbreak chapter, but he survived because I couldn’t turn casual mode off. What in your opinion is the best and most ceremonious way to off him?

That reminds me. I use gba.emu as emulator on android, and hag in white v2.1 with Veslys self randomizer patched. I modified +40growth and 5 hidden level and infinite item use, with other options vanilla. Is it the problem causing that

No, only Orlaith herself. Ive checked I didnt lose other roles. I think the only thing may be different should be that I used hag in white self randomizer version by Vesly. I just realized I will definitely play it more than 5 times after I finished the first 6 chapters, so I swapped to that version for more potential future playable options xd
