My screen keeps going black after the end of chapter 5. Kyra & Apate talk then it just goes blank. I have reloaded my save state with the same result.
Dammit, here we go. Well this has never happened in any of the many playtesting runs there have been, obviously. I’ll look at it as soon as I can.

Yeah, I’m really sorry, I have no idea. The ch5 end event has absolutely nothing in it that should cause crashes, this has never happened to anyone else in any of the many playtesting runs there have been prior to release, and I just went to chapter 5 myself and tried a few things and every time it’s just proceeded to chapter 6 as normal for me.
I’m going to have to chalk it up to either emulator issues (which one are you using btw?) or save states somehow messing with the game. Beyond that, I apologize, I don’t know what could be happening to you here.

I have never said this , but I love these bandits and i’ve only had them on my team for less than one chapter but if anyone hurt them I would wipe the map and then destroy my pc

I’ve finally seen it… true beauty.
On another note, Soter just lost a battle with a wall and a devil axe.
I have found a way to kill him without any enemies on the map and no dangerous tiles, I am impressively bad at this. now the question stands. shall I continue or restart?
