impressed by the tails! (is it ‘tails’ an english word?)
“Tail” is an English word, generally referring to the continuation of certain animals’ spines past their back legs, i.e. the tail of a cat, a dog, a cow, etc. There are also various hairstyles that in English are referred to as [some sort of animal]tails, i.e. ponytails, pigtails, etc.
“Tale” is pronounced the same and spelled similarly, but its meaning is completely different, being a synonym for “story”.
