Summary
After a war that split the continent of Tathylia into pieces (both literally and figuratively), there was relative peace. But now, the embers of war are being stoked once again by the empire of Ragiel; once shaken by the consequences of their previous war, has now steeled their resolve. Led by the forces of it’s imperial prince Juvensly on his father’s orders, Ragiel seeks to conquer the world, burning all who oppose them.
This is just one of the tales of what will be known to history as the Dragonslayer War. Follow the young mercenary, Chris, who is tasked with an important mission to protect a foreign princess. The challenges he faces are many, but his resolve mustn’t waver in the face of injustice, bigotry and battle.

Same! It gets a lot of flack, and that’s not fair. Only some of the flack is deserved-
A sneak peak at some future maps! One of which is a remake~
(This one is the remake. “The Bastion” is a chapter I’ve always hated looking back, because people made me realize it was a more than a little linear. It’s getting changed completely.
THIS…is actually almost done save for the script

Making games is 70% making the game. 28% dealing with dumb bugs or problems that should NOT be happening, 2% crying about those bugs and also having a life.
That is to say, Tathylia Chronicles is a bit fucky at the moment. Feel free to message me if you having problems.

A new version/ demo is out!!
This one is shorter than it was before, so sorry about any cracked characters you promoted in that time, but uhh
They’ll be back eventually???
In the mean time, you have this too look out for!

Thank you for your reply. Have a nice day!
Hey Hi how tf do you do updates…uhh
-
Playtesting for Chapters 14 and 15 are on the way! To give you a general idea, they’re follow one mission about liberating a prison, which may or may not be guarded by monsters oooh ahh
-
A lot of mechanical updates have been added. Including the addition of shields, alterations in weapon stats and class promotions/skills.
-
GBA Portraits have been implemented for the main cast. Here are some of them.

They may look a little fugly, but I like em’ well enough.
-
Scripts are taking a bit, but currently, I’ve reworked the scripts for every chapter up to chapter 2, as well as 13…for some reason. That’s later in the story what-
-
SPEAKING OF STORY….I’m reworking it a little bit. specifically a few plot points involving some recruitments, and maybe a rebellion blah blah blah.
-
Updating maps will probably be a necessity if they aren’t well received in any future playtesting I set up. Woops.
That should be everything!

Been a bit quiet on this front so I’ll give you an update
The current plan is to update the scripts of chapters 1-6, then add two more chapters (7 and 8). Unsure when I will do so, but I’m almost done with the released demo. Just need to put the script in.
A lot of mechanics, items, weapons are being tested. Stat and bonuses for classes have been updated and refined to my liking. Outside of maybe the potential for another class line, I think I’m good here.
I don’t exactly have a planned release date for the update. Just…maybe sooner than I’d expect?
Unless I just rerelease the six chapters I already made.
Hihi! Been a bit. New demo is FINALLY out
I’ll keep this short. The new demo is just the first six chapters. I rewrote them and reworked. I plan on reworking the chapters I have and then releasing them at a later date. This won’t happen too many times don’t worry.
I’ve changed quite a lot, but I think I can confidently say that outside of some potential balancing issues or things that will come up in playtesting, there should be no more major changes to the mechanics.
Hopefully y’all enjoy. I’ll try to be more vocal about updates in the future.
