here are some FE4 hacks ideas. I tried to do it myself with nightmare modules but to no avail.
So I wanted to share some ideas. I use serenes forest names for items/characters btw.
Elite hack
Every playable character has the elite skills. Pretty simple and straightforward!
Casual hack
The Valkyrie staff is C rank (every healer can use it), costs no gold, and has 50 uses. Ethlin comes with one.
No holy weapons hack
Replaces
Tilfing with hero sword
Balmunk with silver blade
Mistoltin with silver sword
Gaeborg with hero lance
Ichival with hero bow
Narga with aura
Valkyrie staff with berserk staff
To defeat Yurius, you must use the berserk staff on Zehn for him to hit Yurius with Hell (leaving him with 1 HP).
Change Zehn skill stats from 23 to 25, give him a skill ring and charisma skill for a better hit rate.
Almost every holy weapon playable hack
Characters with minor holy blood can wield holy weapons but stats bonuses are halved
Holy weapons can be traded
get Falaflame from defeating Alvis
get Swanchika from defeating Langobalt and Burian
get Thorhammer from defeating Ishtar in the final chapter
make Areone playable in the final chapter
Celice x Yuria hack
Make them automatically lovers. Questionable but why not?
Zehn? Really? I’m okay with you using Celice, since that Seliph’s japanese name. But Zehn? Yurius? Yuria? Same energy as the comment “My is Erizubethou” or something. Also, if you’re gonna use the japanese name for Ced, just use Sety.
Zehn is this guy. One of the Dark Warlords, with a Hel tome. Berserk him and he can bring Julius to 1 HP, where anyone else can finish him off. No relation to Sety.
I am aware that some of these overlap with the binary hack. I thought of other hacks but I think it is better if they never exist at all.
Same-gender lover hack
I think it can be interesting gameplaywise. However, it can make no sense storywise. Obvious for 1st gen woman characters.
Creepy hack
Hannibal can have a lover, Finn can have a lover in 2nd gen if he hasn’t in 1st gen.
(Another level of creepiness: Think Hannibal x Leen and Fin x Nanna)
Immoral hack
Everyone can be lover with everyone and can have multiple lovers. I’d rather not mention what it can involve…
Apply Sleep Sword to Yurius’ face; he’s not immune to it, in fact, he’s 100% susceptible to it. Once he’s asleep, chip him down 1 HP at a time with your whole army. No Zehn need apply.
@Trapinch RIP Hero Sword #2, but letting Celice pay for Yuria’s Resire costs without investment is generally enough of a plus that it’s still worth doing.
@Darrman More reliable than you think; it’s a 46.2% chance of success as long as Zehn has 71 or more HP when he attacks Yurius.
The breakdown:
33% chance to hit Yurius on first attempt
If previous attempt failed, 40% chance to not die to Charge
If survived Charge, 33% chance to hit Yurius on second attempt; Zehn will not have enough HP to survive a second round of combat, so if he misses here, he will die
If Zehn misses on his first attempt, Yurius must not proc Charge for Zehn to survive. This is because of a little known property of Charge, in that during the extra round of combat granted by the skill, the unit who activated Charge initiates combat; thus, Yurius attacks twice with Pursuit after Zehn attacks Yurius, and if Charge activates, Yurius initiates combat on Zehn and gets a 3rd attack in a row that Zehn cannot survive.

The sleep sword strategy would be incredibly tedious. Since the goal is a run without holy weapons, almost all physical units will probably have less than 50 atk, dealing only 1 dmg per hit.
If Zehn has 25 skl stat, and a skill ring his chance of success is 65.8% (which is okay!)
33+10+4=47% chance to hit Yurius on first (and second) attempt.
If Zehn has the charisma skill it is pointless since Yurius will also get the boost!
OP Yurius hack
Loptus also gives +10 def and +10 spd. Minimum damage is set to 0. He has 5 Leadership stars and charisma skill. He becomes unbeatable without Zehn or Narga.
Lene, Ced, Fee, and Cairpre are all siblings now (Silvia must have carried blond hair genes from Bragi, only reason I can think of for Cairpre’s hair color)

Notes:
Lex, Azelle and Tailtiu have major blood instead of minor. Their same gender children will also inherit major holy blood. They have slightly better growth and can use holy weapons.
You have to buy the Helswath for 50000G from the vendor starting from chapter 1 for Lex.
If you play well you can gather 50000G at the beginning of chapter 2 for him.
Warning : don’t buy it with another character because Lex won’t be able to get it back since you can’t trade holy weapons!
I wanted to change Iuchar and Iucharba holy blood to major for them to use Helswath but impossible to find the codes…
You have to buy the Valflame for 50000G from the vendor starting from chapter 3 for Azelle and chapter 9 for his son. Valflame won’t be inherited so his son has to buy it back.
Tailtiu will start with Mjölnir, it is okay since she joins late and underleveled. Tine has to buy it back for 50000G from the vendor starting from chapter 7 (or 8? I don’t remember).
Tailtiu x Azelle is an amazing pairing with these codes!

Are you only collecting ideas, or do you also create FE4 hacks yourself? I think an FE4 Paragon hack could be very interesting where all playable units start with the Paragon skill.
if we’re depositing codes, a younger me loved playing FE4. Must be at least 100 times I’ve played through it, including the binary reskin hacks with the different characters. I used codes from here, they worked with SNES9x last time I played;
Since everyone is just gonna love each other, lol, I’d like to see a hack that gives more effects for lovers fighting near each other. I guess a bit like supports in later games. Though I am sure making any pair is possible, I somehow feel like multiple lovers would break the game
