So, Who Actually Played TLP?

TLP was the first FE hack I ever played, and it’s still one of the best imo.

The last few chapters were a pain and I stopped caring.

I was actually enjoying it but I have no time to complete it

Fates is better tbh

More on the topic of having played tlp.
Its a wonder to me how a hack can deviate so little from the vanilla formula, and still feel like a unique game.
As a hack dev myself, I have deviated quite a bit, and my hack still feels very samey with vanilla.

As such, TLP is the best vanilla game in the series, and Blazing Blade is a really weird romhack.

I mean i legitimately enjoy TLP more than any of the vanilla GBA games, especially its base material (FE7).

I completed the game 2 times, the second one was because I lost my save data, the image is from my second save data

I’d be more interested in who played TLP but didn’t play Tales of Symphonia. The story is a weird mashup of concepts a teenager found cool about FE7 and Tales of Symphonia but separated from their proper context, so I can only imagine it’s a bizarre experience to play the TLP and not know where a lot of the story beats came from.
