Oh, hey look the closest thing we have for Key art for this.
PROJECT OVERLOAD: V0.2/DEMO
Don’t you hate it when your self-insert goes and becomes their own person with thoughts and beliefs of their own? No? Just me?
Inspired heavily by Octopath and Disgaea I sought out to make a FE hack experience unlike any that have been done so far!
In this hack instead of having a large army consisting of 20-40 people, you’ll focus on your 8 main units, one for each of the 8 weapon types. Of course, you’ll be supported by an assortment of friendly faces willing to help your cause!
Let’s get straight to talking about all the things in this hack that truly make it a sight to behold!
(Pardon the Feh Impression incoming)
\[Overloads, what are they?\]
Our main octet has the ability to activate special commands called Overloads!
These are all unique skills that can do wild things and help you keep the pressure on the enemy or serve as a deciding factor for your big turnaround in a battle!
But what can they do?
Well Im glad you (didn’t) asked!

See this little guy here? Well, his name is Kohan and he’s got a knack for fast work! So, when the going gets tough for him…

Look at that! A fiery aura and the energy to take down the first unlucky guy he comes across!

Whoa! a 2 V.s 1? That can’t be fair… Well for them at least! When Kohan starts to flare up, he can take another action right away after defeating an enemy!

War is goanna put you on the backfoot with 1,000 enemies and impossible odds so show off your stuff and beat the enemy with skills like they’ve never seen before!
\[Supports and Skills!\]
Once you unlock your basecamp you can do a number of activities!
Bonding with your close allies is the most important by far!

Legretto and Ediea are certainly hard workers, they both need a break and I’m sure the two would love to spend their time at base together!

Let’s have Ediea reserve some space so the two can relax! They could talk about plenty of things, do anything in town or simply enjoy each other’s company!
Did you see that? Not only did their affinity for each other increase but they also learned a skill! Being around good people always brings out the best in us after all!
Not only will bonding with your allies give bonuses in battle, but these bonuses will apply no matter how far away they are on the battlefield. Whats more the skills our cast learns is determined soley by who they choose to get close with.
*Do mind that supports have not been written yet.
\[Levels and Promotion}
Classes tend to matter quite alot for the average soldier and our band is no exception!

Huh? Oh, hello there you two, What’s that? You think you’re ready to change classes? I couldn’t agree more!

Our armored lord Seleste is Lv15 and plenty strong enough for a power boost like this! Why she can even promote herself!
But hmm… What to choose… It’s a tough choice and we aren’t sure what to do yet! Perhaps we should put it off for now? Our level wont reset upon promotion so maybe it could be best to wait and see how her stats unfold or what skills she may learn? If there’s too many things to consider, perhaps whatever sounds the most interesting then!

Xane on the other hand… He isn’t at lv15 yet so he can’t promote himself… Oh wait I know! Since we have this Overseal laying around from a while ago, he can promote right now even if he was at Lv1! It’s a rare resource but I think he can make great use of it! Resources are made to be spent after all!
\[Weapons and the Weapon Triangle\]

![]()
It seems like the mercenaries of the group Cerra and Derrick are deep in conversation! Lets see what its about!
Ah Derricks asking why Cerra doesn’t use a steel weapon like he does all the time. They might slow you down, but they give a defensive boost, and if you can get the weapon triangle advantage these weapons along with silver weapons can double the bonuses from the advantage!
Steel weapons are good, but they also double the penalties from being at disadvantage… It’s best to bring a healthy mix of weapons like a Knightkneeler or a Javelin. They may be very heavy, but their effects are always incredibly useful when used correctly.
This may not be the hardest or most challenging Romack on the platform, but it’ll hopefully be a grand experience none the less!
Feel free to leave your most direct thoughts and criticisms about it and hope to see you much further down the road when the project is 100% complete!
