[Recruiting/Help Wanted] Tales of Destiny & Abyss Project (Portraits & Battle Anims)

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a FE8 hack that features characters from Tales of Destiny and Tales of the Abyss.

Since I couldn’t find many Tales sprites online, I decided to make these custom portraits myself!
(I will upload the portrait images in the replies below shortly!)

As you can see, they still need some polish. I would really appreciate it if anyone in the community could help me clean up/touch up these portraits (they are Free to Edit / F2E).

What I need help with (Feedback for Spriters):

  • Portrait Clean-up: Please help smooth out the hair shading and character boundaries (especially for Stahn and Philia’s hair).
  • Shading Adjustments: Some of the clothing and armor shading (like Leon’s cape and Barbatos’ armor) could use a pro’s touch-up to match the official GBA FE style.

Bonus: Custom Item Icons for Swordsians & Barbatos’ Axe!
Since I’m making a dedicated ToD/TotA hack, I also pixeled the Swordsians (Atwight, Chaltier, Clemente, Dimlos, Igtenos) and a custom axe for Barbatos (Goetia) in 16x16! Due to the tight pixel limit, I had to simplify some details, but I tried my best to keep their iconic colors and shapes. Let me know what you think!

Also, I am looking for anyone who can help with Battle Animations that match these characters. Tales characters have unique, multi-colored outfits. I need talented animators who can handle complex palettes or custom animations (even just custom palettes/recolors of existing GBA animations would be amazing!) to bring these designs to life in battle!

Please note that I am using an AI translator to write this, so some of my sentences might sound a bit unnatural or harder to understand. I appreciate your patience and understanding!
