I would be interested to see a rom hack or original FE like game where the two main characters are a dark mage and a skeleton.

Honestly that kinda fits with a smaller scale rom hack idea I had. I think a necromancer villain who’s basically already destroyed the world could be really cool. Making the main character a previous pupil or something sounds really cool 
Well, there’s no Dark Mage, but if you’re cool with Roguelikes; one of the Fire Emblem Roguelikes has the canon protagonist you play as be among the undead.
Some kind of Necromancer who wanted to build his perfect puppet and just discarded him, separating body and soul. Both are separated but still linked together by magic.
The body doesn’t know what happened, the mind remembers just enough to have a goal. The skeleton body has a completely different personality than the soul that has a purpose and confidence to push through and both know to achieve that goal they must stay together.

I would wanna see a rom hack where you genuinely play as an evil main character with the sole purpose of being evil for the love of the game.

its also not something I’m dying to see just throwing out ideas that if someone thinks is good they can use and to generate discussion.
