Question multiplayer

I have a question if anyone ever given any thought to doing a live stream with other fire emblem players will you take four people and have them control for units and see how long you can live before you guys have a death I think it would be great content just saying I’ll be down for some group fire emblem

I’ve thought about this with a few different games. Some of the early final fantasies for example have an option to let different players control different party members.
The main issue is it’s hard to get a group together to play games that have good synergy and consistency in schedules.

A few years ago I played a handful of different games with random people on discord, and what I found is that I don’t gel well with a lot of people.
Funny enough, of all the gamer groups I’ve tried I got along the best with the MTG players even though I don’t care for the game at all.

It’s an interesting idea. The closest I can think of is mekkah’s link arena series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQMknUJeOtQ

he also has a series where he plays through fe games with someone playing as the ai, but that found its own issues
The issue with playing actual fire emblem like this is any individual pvp map would struggle, given that turtling would be heavily incentivized and if you make side objectives that offer additional buffs to whoever claims them, then it would be a struggle to make it a worthwhile objective without just winning the game for whoever got it. Plus, whoever goes first would have a large advantage.

There’s also the issue of while it isn’t impossible to set up, it certainly takes a degree of know-how to do so and I assume those with the ability (I am not one of the people who could set this up) have other interests they want to spend their time on.

It has been done, multiple times by multiple people. Usually PvP which is much less interesting, but sometimes it’s co-op instead and to me that is way more enjoyable.
With a program like Parsec, one player is the host and can give control of the emulator to other players so they can each control one unit.
