Notification for post/reply edits

I believe that it would be a useful QoL feature for this repo. If you are making a pme, and someone replies with a character, it would allow the post owner to know if changes are made very quickly. If you want to add onto an old original post/reply you made, you wouldn’t have to annoyingly interrupt a conversation to point out that you made some edits. On the Repo, this would also be useful, because if you wanted to post an updated version of an older animation, portrait, or other creation of yours, you wouldn’t have to disrupt the conversation. However, it should also be noted that like having the opportunity to be notified or not about certain threads, it should be OPTIONAL. This would prevent you from being bombarded with notifications at all times from older posts. You should be able to choose whether or not you want to know if a post is updated.
What do you all think about this?

This would have to be something applicable per-thread. If you’re managing a PME, you might wanna know about every edit; but on other threads, you might only want to know if the post was involved in a reply with you in some way. Same idea with post notifications.

That’s a good point. I feel that if you could toggle it for any post, or the thread in general. This would let people participating in a pme know if the top has been edited with new important information
