How did you make that gif? Do you have some sort of spriting tool which records your every move and then outputs it like a video, or did you just record yourself drawing the character and then speed it up as a gif?

I did it the way Monkeybard has been using. I press undo until my mug gets back to a blank canvas, open a gif recorder on screen, then record the canvas when I hold redo until it becomes the finished mug again.
