For knives and daggers- anything that has swords, literally make them the same weapon class.
For brawling, there’s a lot of overlap w/ what’s traditionally associated with axes, at least in FE3h, but there’s not much for what people think of for D&D Monks, more Martial Artist, kinda Karate-ish. I think you get what I’m getting at.
What about a Flying Kick weapon which moves the unit adjacent to the target (see Engage’s Advance skill) but then auto-Equips a Range 1 weapon after battle? That way, it’s not a universal 2-Range weapon, but they still have a way to initiate combat at Range 2?
