Hello sorry i am new this. Chapter 1-6 i just check blue tilts like extra? All characters are full except extra blue tilts .

Greetings to all, and particularly to the brilliant author of this F.E.hack.
Since there have been no more updates this year, can this game be considered finished?
I mean, are the plot and main dialogues complete and only missing a few tweaks here and there? Or are whole chapters still missing and the game comes to an abrupt halt?
Put another way, is it worth waiting until it is perfected or am I better off playing it as it is now? Thank you.

I’m not the developer, but in the opening post it says:
“Contains 19 Chapters (It is not complete)”

Sure. I had already read it. But as I specifically stated earlier, incomplete may mean that it lacks only a few touches here and there but the main body of project has been done, or conversely that there are still a few chapters missing and the storyline is not fully developed. This can only be answered by the author or some user who has played it to the end, obviously.

The story is nowhere near finished. You’re better off playing the game now rather than waiting until its finished since theres no telling when itll be complete.

Oh damn when did the public patch get released?? What I get for not checking on this in ages.

Wanted to include a list of locations to find cryptic notes on 2.1 just because I couldn’t find it anywhere else, spoilers obviously!

Cryptic Note 1

Visit the armory, after ending shopping you’ll get the note (hopefully you’re checking out the armory regardless in this stockpile mission, if not…:thinking:)

Cryptic Note 2

You can see the note on the ground in the center of the piers as an ally (green) unit, go near it and start a conversation with any unit.

Cryptic Note 3

This is probably the trickiest one, while you can’t use the thief to unlock the right most or center doors, you CAN use them to unlock the far left door. In this room there’ll be a grate revealed, throwback to mission 1.2 where you move Dewey onto the grate. This will reveal the next room with two chests, both containing notes.

Cryptic Note 4

Another more creative one, need to use the Fetch staff (Rallel joins with it) to grab the note from the walled water area. Once it’s on dry land you’re prompted to hit it with water, shoot off a Flare with Agali and you’ve got the note!

I was not expecting to get so into this. This hack was just supposed to be something I played in between getting annoyed with elden ring, or other hard romhack levels.

Instead it pushed those things to the wayside, because almost every single map had some kind of cool surprise or twist to see. This is now one of my favorite romhacks, and it pains me that it’s not complete. I NEED to see how the rest of the story plays out. I would sell someone’s soul to see it completed.

I do have some small criticisms/thoughts. They might not be worth listening too though as I might just be bad at the game. If you see this I’d love to hear what you think, maybe I’m totally off base on these.

1: There seems to be a severe lack of promotion items in this hack. I only found a grand total of 5 over 19 chapter, and 2 of those were in 2-8+2-F, but at that point the hack is over (as of right now). Now granted, I may have missed some somewhere, but I think I was pretty thorough. Unless they were really well hidden puzzle rewards or something I think I got them all. Now I understand the first 2 chapters are more or less just world building, they shouldn’t really count, but that’s still 17 chapters with 5 total, and 3 functional promo items.

Compare this to any other fire emblem game, and you’ll see that’s kind of low. I think just in FE6 you have like one of each promo item by like chapter 10? Not sure on that, just going off of memory.

I think at the bare minimum, just for current version playability you should add a few more. Maybe an extra sky seal, and two extra earth seals, then for the next full release removing some, or all of the extra ones.

2: I’m wondering if eidolon haze should be a B rank in the current version of the hack. It should probably stay B in later versions but in my playthrough I used nilou pretty often. She was level 13 by the end and she never reached B rank, even with me trying to funnel kills to her after getting the eidolon haze. Maybe I needed to promote her to reasonably get it? But there’s no way I could’ve known that without playing it before. I couldn’t save my promo items just in case something like this happened, because it was so difficult I felt I needed to early promote.

3: in the chapter with the bees, i don’t like the puzzle. From my understanding the reward is on the mountains and you used the desert item finding mechanics to determine when the player gets it, right? I’m not a fan of puzzles having variable solutions tbh.

I think a better idea would be to just put it in the peak above the house. Possibly too easy, but the reward isn’t that massive, and it quite literally is a peak both in terrain type, and map sprite.

Alternatively if you want it to remain the same, where it can be found on any peak, I’d say Malcolm/dewey should probably just have a 100% chance to find it.

4: I’m REALLY not sure on this one, maybe I just suck/got stat screwed, but the entire mermaid arc felt really hard. I think maybe it’s because there’s so many mages on the map, and your units can’t take more than one hit from them, and with enemies moving in squads they become very dangerous. This on its own isn’t a big deal of course, but there’s lots of optional objectives you really need to push for on those maps and the combination of those things makes it very tough.

I think it could be worth considering giving the player a barrier staff prior to the mermaid arc, or a cup or two of green tea.

Again, I could totally be wrong on all of this, just my thoughts. Even if you don’t change these things, I love this hack and cannot wait to play it again when the next update happens.

Edit: one more thing, narbid’s promoted drip is sick, if you ever take a second pass at it you should totally put elaborate gilding on his cape.

There’s been updates on the public discord as recently as this February.
