I am ADMRL, project lead for new telephone hack Cav Emblem.
In this project, we hope to celebrate cavaliers from throughout the series, while putting a humorous spin on it all. We are looking for new members to contribute to the project, whether that be chapters or assets.
Our goal stands to be between 20 and 23 chapters, as to allow everyone to add two cavaliers of their choice to their given chapter.
In terms of our rules, I have tried to stay loose as I’d like to see everybody have their chance to make the chapter they want to. The rules as they stand are listed below.
Attached to this announcement is a single chapter proof of concept for the hack. This is chapter 1 of the hack, until deemed to be worth editing, and will be continued off of by the following developer. It lacks a chapter ending, for I wish to leave the next developer’s options for how to progress the story open.

Either way, you will be invited to a Discord server in which the development of this hack will be discussed. Even if you are unsure of your collaboration in the project, we’d be happy to have you in the server to voice opinions and suggestions or playtest, and potentially join the project later on.

Chapter Creation Rules
1: The next developer in the ROM will be picked at random from among willing developers, until one is chosen that responds to a DM regarding their turn within a day of sending.
2: When the ROM is passed over to a developer, that developer is in charge of creating the next chapter of the hack. If they find themselves unable to do so in a reasonable time frame (1-2 weeks), they may ask to either leave the telephone or to be suspended to a later chapter(although repeated suspensions by the same person are to be avoided if possible).
3: The goal of the hack is to be a celebration, as well as mockery, of cavaliers from among the many entries of Fire Emblem. If you wish to include a character not among these, whether they promote into a cavalier, are shown as a cavalier in media, or are otherwise cavalier-adjacent(or even not, creativity is encouraged provided the concept is inspired), please discuss this with others in current-chapter-development before finalizing this decision.
4: Developers are encouraged not to actively change another’s chapter without permission from the developer responsible for the chapter.
5: All sources are to be credited in the Credits section of the google document, in proper format as the example given shows.
6: Chapter 1 will contain 5 playable units. Each following chapter may offer up to 2 additional units to the player. However, if the current amount of playable units in previous chapters is below the maximum amount that could be made up to this point, a developer may make additional units using those unit slots. I, ADMRL, will be personally responsible for keeping this tally.
7: Overtly sexual content is to be avoided, mainly of the visual sort. The implication of sexual behavior is to be discussed among the team members and will go through provided it is deemed acceptable. Otherwise, it is not to be included.
Failure to listen to any of these rules on repeated and intentional occasions may result in your omission from the final project, as well as chapters/assets created by you.
