My favorite fe games are the Tellius games! Sacred Stones and FE7 also hold a really strong hold on my heart. :)))
my favorite characters usually end up being dragon ladies…. Sad ladies…. Sad dragon ladies…. And depressed middle aged men who have to choose between loyalty to their Lord or loyalty to their nation…. Yeah. That’s the stuff.
Unit wise: I love generals!! Heavy armor units!! When they go CLANK CLANK CLANK across the battlefield, that makes me smile . Also like archers. They feel so underutilized . Justice for my physical damage chip units.
I will probably be more of a lurker and fan since I tend to make things in unity, but I’m def interested in game design discussions !!! I’ve always had issues with balancing. I’m assuming most people just tinker stats after player feedback?
hey hey welcome! hope you enjoy all the hacks and fangames here and couple things i’ve learned when it comes to game balance are 1) fun is more important than balance and 2) numbers dont mean much, just throw stuff at the wall and see if it feels good (which tbh ties into point 1 lol)

With how many fe hacks and fangames there are you will be kept busy/entertained for quite some time. Since you like heavy armors and archers I wonder now which hacks have good armors/archers. And since you like both does that mean a bow using armor knight would be up your ally?
Woah!!! A bow using armor unit!!! !!! Never thought of that before. It absolutely WOULD be up my alley! Now I’m gonna think about what kinds of maps would work well with this type of unit.
