I’m looking for music to use in my ROM hack. In particular, I need good player/enemy attack themes. There are a LOT of songs to go through in the music repository and I don’t particularly have time to listen to them all. Can I have some suggestions that’ll fit my criteria? Map theme recommendations will also be appreciated. Thanks!
This should really depend on what type of hack you want to create. You can change battle themes depending on the map, so you can always experiment. I’d recommend picking Player/Enemy battle themes based on your favorite Fire Emblem game and going down the list if you don’t see it or don’t like the arrangement. Otherwise you can’t go wrong with the GBA tracks.
This counts for map themes as well, though I personally like the Jugdral, Archanea and Fates tracks.
I’m partial to Thracia tracks. A good portion of them can be used for serious or grim situations
