Trying to recreate a song in a GBA style for an FE8, but I’m not exactly sure which program to use to make the song itself. Any recommendations?

FL Studio is a pretty commonly used software for making music and also MIDI files as far as I’m aware. It’s free, but you can’t open projects iirc.
I have no experience making songs for FEGBA specifically, but I like to make music in Cubase, which allows you to export your song as a MIDI file. I have no clue how to make your exported MIDI work in FEGBA though. Cubase does have a 30 day free trial and there are plenty of videos available to help you understand the software and how it works.
