Looking for playtesters for new completed ROM hack, Fire Emblem: Inheritance

I recommend you to not use filters for you screen captures again in the future, since it will worsen people’s reaction to your posts, @Gorgonath. Most people don’t like those, and pixel artists can’t give you accurate feed back for obvious reasons.

ive currently played through 3 chapters and im already into it. however, in chapter 4, is the shaman supposed to have 2 move in an escort chapter?
Edit: i now know why he has 2 move.

I don’t know where you’re at now, but yes he is intended to have 2 move.

i’m currently at chapter 8, and i think it’s a really cool idea to have stat boosters be held for a temporary boost, or used for a permanent one. although, making it increase a stat by one decreases its value a bit.

How are you liking the mod so far? Is the story clear?

to me, the backstory is a little unclear, i get bits and pieces, but not much of a whole story. unless that’s intentional.
also, i just thought of something. when you play at that character, you get a bunch of strong weapons and such. however you still have access to the convoy, so if you have the foresight, you can put their weapons in the convoy for the other party to use, meaning you could get much better weapons far earlier than you should.
i didn’t do this however, it just occurred to me after playing chapter 8.

Unfortunatly I don’t think we can’t do much about that, I believe. I’ll ask again to the other guys tho, to be sure. If you want we could discuss a little more about the story on the discord server. The narration is actually the part we are interested the most with this playtesting, cause we already playtested enough by ourselves to think there shouldn’t be many issue regarding gameplay.

story-wise, the only issue i found so far was that the grammar needs some touching up here and there, mostly in spelling mistakes and such.
but that’s just me nitpicking.

also, i think i just ran into a bug/glitch. in chapter 8x, there’s an armor knight who’s supposed to drop a falchion+. instead, he only gives you 5600 gold. is this intentional? i hope not.

but then the question is, why did it drop gold instead of either?

That weapon is in the place of regular Gold, those “200 gold” you see on monsters when you play vanilla game.
So It’s hard coded to drop directly the gold value, I never changed it because you are never supposed to drop a Falchion+ from an enemy.

Ye, I’m sorry for the little mistakes in the writing, I was responsible to write almost all the dialogues in the game (while Vivider works on most of the other stuff), but none of us is an English native speaker. Please, report text mistakes is the designated channel on discord, thank you.
