Basically, let’s combine design choices from mainline FE games to make a bad game.
And I mean it, no “Inventing bad design choices”. I want to see a FE game of the series’s worst qualities, not the worst possible FE game. Also if possible state from which game the design choice is from or one example of said design choice.
Let me start:
The “to be replaced” recruiting the “replacement” (The first thief recruiting the second thief. See fe1.)
That sounds like a good idea, actually, we’re trying to make a bad game here.
The church’s leader that you’re supposed to be siding with is clearly responsible for multiple atrocities and the narrative just doesn’t even judge her for it seemingly for just Being The Church Leader.
Just make the mages feel like they’re in Radiant Dawn. As in, most enemies, even the armor knights, have a good resistance stat, and it’s very difficult to increase their weapon levels.
Can only access the convoy through a force deployed, transporter/Merlinus style unit. If that unit dies, you permanently lose everything in your convoy. For realism’s sake.
Even more evil? Make it a wagon, but it’s a green unit. Have the ai wander towards enemies. Perfect anti-turtling incentive!
