Let me explain. Basically a legally distinct Fire Emblem is a “title” that shares elements in common with Fire Emblem, but do not threaten to infringe upon copyright. Those elements could be conceptual, such as a natural phenomenon like FIRE, or referencing symbols like EMBLEM. They could also match syllables.
You don’t have to make a complicated image like I have. But if you can think of any legally distinct Fire Emblems, or already have a few you would like to share, I would really like to see what you can come up with!
I remember back in my days of cringe I wrote a CYOA on anonkun titled Thunder Seal with an older father blue haired protagonist that I intended to kill off to troll the site’s general audience.
I stopped writing it after two or three updates because before I started I told myself I’d do art for it and it turns out that takes a looooong time.
