I’m making my own fire emblem game and i’m having issues with the battle animations: the backgrounds don’t show up… I just see the map on which you move your units with the battle displayed on top. Is this caused by me or is it an issue with the rom itself?
I think you’ve set your animations off or something. There are 4 options for battle animations in settings:-
- You can turn animations off with the OFF button. In that case, no animation will play out.
- You can set it to 1 where animations play out but there’s no background.
- You can set it to 2 where animations and background are both present.
- Or you can manually assign 1, 2 or OFF with Solo.
If there was a photo then your problem would’ve been easier to understand. Were you messing with the battle frame or something?
