Issue with Manakete transformation and the Battle Transforming Patch

Hello and sorry to disturb, I’m currently trying to add a second Manakete classes, based on the custom animation “Adult Tiki by akkuma407” from the Repository github.

I first did research about my issue, but i didn’t find anything that could help me fix it
So i did made sure to assign the default animation of the class as the unarmed/human form.

And I also use the Battle transforming patch, and made sure to assign every correct animation to each slots.

However, when attacking, everything goes well, it start the transformation animation, but as soon as the transformation animation end, the music cut and become silent and it instantly jump to the base/default human form while doing the magic/breath animation in the “Transform Finished Anim”.

I haven’t used that patch in a while but I think the “transform finished Anim” is supposed to be the dragon attacking animation. There should be another part of the patch that requires the reverting animation and maybe the finished reverting animation, but I don’t remember their exact names.

Hello ! After checking I tried what you said (switching “Transform finished anim”) the patch does state Transform finished anim is suposed to be the base human form and also, it kept the same animation, after checking it seems that after the transform animation end, the game directly force the animation to what’s written in the Battle Animator and Items, so since it have to be set as the default/human form it does that animation, but if i set it at as attack animation it start in dragon form, instantly become human form to start transform then attack in dragon form normally, however music still turn silent for some reason in addition of the battle starting in battle form already, for some reason, it seems the game ignore the Battle transforming patch as soon as the transformation animation end to instead execute whatever is set in the Battle animation menu of the class, and for some reason i guess it’s also what mute the music battle after the transformation.

I managed to fix it, for some reason writing it over an already existing slot made it work, no clue how or why, the animation goes very well, from start to end, howerver the battle music keep muting at the first attack.

Since the animation itself is working the issue might be from the 3 sound effects at the bottom. I tested the animation with the default setup and everything works fine on my end, so if you changed the sound effects that might cause an issue.


And just to confirm the class animation looks something like this? With the default human form assigned to the dragonstone animation?

Yeah for some reason, I did the exact same thing you did (and which is what’s advised to do both on the patch info and some topic i saw here) but on an already existing manakete animation and this time it worked, for some reason creating new manakete transform was messing everything up.
So animation is fine now, but the sound problem is still up, I tried to put original one to see, but the issue keep going, actually, the battle music stop right when the sfx of ennemy being hit by the attack is triggered

Update, figured it out, the issue come from the Magic animation side, i had it set to Fae breath, and by triggering Fae breath hit sound, it was cutting the music
