Is there any way to turn off replacement units in FE11?

Hi,

I’ve been playing a lot of FE:SD lately, I’m just finishing a run on H3 (rules: only promoted units and all gaiden stages). I previously finished H2 in Ironmode. I’d like to do another run on H4 and also Ironmode, but the replacement units really annoy me. I don’t want to play them, I’d rather lose and start all over than use these units. Is there a way to turn them off? Maybe a romhack?

you could just not use them

Well, presumably the issue is that they want to get the sidestories again, so would have to deliberately get them killed.
