The title says it all, which classes would each of the Persona characters be if they were in FE? This was actually something I was thinking of ever since a year ago back when I made portraits of the P3 cast, but never got around to making them, and while I did already had in mind which classes most of them would be, I think I found it worth it to discuss it with other people, mainly since someone else (Marcelfe) did it with Advance Wars. While the Persona series might not be made by the same guys that did FE, they still have some similarities, mainly at how Three Houses was made, most of the voice actors in both languages having done work on both franchises, and then there’s that crossover they did at least a decade ago (which was more of a SMT x FE crossover, but actually felt more like a Persona x FE one). Here are some of my ideas regarding Persona characters as FE ones. Some are more obvious than the rest, while others are made so that they’re able to still have elements from their original franchise and being an actual FE character:
Persona 3

Makoto Yuki/Minato Arisato/P3MC: Myrmidon → Swordmaster, alternatively a class that can use all weapons like Grandmaster (the former one because his main weapon ended up being a sword, the later one because of his original interpretation up to P3 FES being able to use most weapons, with the exception of daggers (Koromaru) and guns (Aigis))

Kotone Shiomi/P3FEMC: Spear Fighter → Lance Master/Basara

Yukari Takeba: Archer → Sniper/Adventurer (the first promo focuses on bow usage, the second one includes a mix of it and healing support)

Junpei Iori: Mercenary → Hero (Usually interpreted as more sturdier but less agile than the P3 hero)

Akihiko Sanada: Brawler → War Master / Sword Cavalier → Paladin (the first one fits him the most, since he fought only with punches, but the second one might be more easier to make while still fitting in some way to his character, or at least when based on his persona, abilities, and relationship with another character down here)

Mitsuru Kirijo: Lord → Ice Priestess/Ice Queen (she gets a more unique class due to being the actual leader of SEES, and being the owner of a millionare company, pretty much being the successor to her father (Who dies in classic FE fashion). She would use swords (preferably starting with a rapier) and magic, mainly favoring ice magic over other types, but she could use staves, especially if we don’t use Gaiden magic)

Fuuka Yamagishi: Cleric → Saint/Bishop

Aigis: Pegasus Knight → Falcon Knight (this one is a bit trickier due to her fighting with weapons that aren’t really similar to things FE has done, other than bows and crossbows, so she could use weapons like that on her class, while also having no flying weaknesses (at most being weak to thunder magic). This is just something that could fit her character)

Koromaru: a custom class based on the (normally) unplayable monster class Mauthe Doog → Gwillgy line from FE8 that can use daggers/swords (imo the closest thing that could fit for Koromaru tbh, where’s our playable doggos, Int Sys? Additionally he wouldn’t promote due to not gaining a 2nd persona in P3)

Ken Amada: Lance Fighter → Halberdier/Royal Knight (leaning more towards the 2nd promo, due to using staves, which makes Ken a more mixed character just like how he in P3. Alternatively he could also start as a trainee due to being the youngest human in the group)

Shinjiro Aragaki: Axe Cavalier → Great Knight / Pirate → Berserker/Warrior (the 2nd one could fit more, but I’m leaning more toward the first one imo. Alternatively, he could also start promoted)

Metis: Axe Falcon Knight (she could be a mix of Aigis and Shinji imo, being an axe user that also flies, and with no weaknesses)
Persona 4

Yu Narukami: Myrmidon → Swordmaster/Trueblade (more like Truthblade, but that might be a bit more too on the nose)

Yosuke Hanamura: Thief → Rogue/Trickster (he’s able to use daggers alongside staves)

Chie Satonaka: Martial Fighter → Martial Master /Sword Cavalier → Paladin (I’m leaning more towards the first one tbh, I don’t see any other classes that could fit her character imo)

Yukiko Amagi: Mage → Sage (she could also promote into a flying class that uses magic and staves, unlike most of the FE ones from what I’ve seen so far, but the Sage line is still fine for her)

Kanji Tatsumi: Knight → General (the closest class that could fit for him imo, although it would be funny if someone does a class that’s fights with shields/chairs)

Rise Kujikawa: Dancer (she could also use light magic and staves if you don’t want her to just dance)

Teddie: a mix of mage and knight (a bit more trickier than Kanji tbh, but still a bit workable. Might throw a bit of the Brawler line since he fights with a claw)

Naoto Shirogane: Archer → Sniper/Ranger
Persona 5
For these ones, I’m visualising their promos as their Phantom Thieves attires

Ren Amamiya/Joker: Thief Lord → Assassin (or also King of Thieves. Might be a less cheek in tone compared to Truthblade)

Morgana: Thief → Trickster (a bit more easier to guess compared to other non-human party members imo. Maybe would still have custom animations tho)

Ryuji Sakamoto: (Axe) Fighter → Warrior (kind of fits especially since he isn’t quick, and most axe Fighters aren’t speedy IIRC)

Ann Takamaki: Mage → Sage

Yusuke Kitagawa: Myrmidon → Swordmaster

Makoto Nijima: Brawler → War Master (f$ck gender locks) / Wyvern Rider → Wyvern Knight (the first one fits way more, but I feel the second one or a mounted class could still fit for her)

Futaba Sakura: Dark Cleric → (Devil) Summoner (basically a staff user that also uses/gains the ability to use dark magic, and maybe being able to summon illusions)

Haru Okumura: Brigand → Berserker/Warrior (kind of clashes to her character, but it’s actually in character for her. Only thing is that she would have an unique brigand outfit for that class, as in more dressed and more elegant than the usual)

Goro Akechi: Swordmaster → Dread Fighter (starts promoted due to being actually already experienced)

Sumire/ Kasumi Yoshisawa: Myrmidon → Swordmaster /Light Mage Fighter (I’m thinking more about that second promo if only to differentiate her a bit from the rest of the characters here)
If you want to put the character classes for the rest of the Persona characters, like the P1 and P2 casts, alongside some others like the evil Persona users, additional persona users from other games, and other NPC characters, or give other ideas for the Persona characters I’ve included, feel free to comment them down below.
