How to make mc able to choose class

Hi everyone!. So i been making sprites these past few days and finally finished enough sprite to make chapter 1 of my rom hack and i want the mc to be able to choose what class they wanted to be. Is there any way to do this?

You can use the split menu patch and use that as a way to choose your mc’s class
