How do battle screen actually work so they get imported?

Ok so i’ve been working on this custom battle screen for a while now and no matter how i import it, it just keep getting ruined, right now after following one of the guides and literally getting a side to only have a total of 68 tiles, it ended up looking like this

honestly would appreciate some help on whatever i’m supposed to do just so it doesn’t look like a mess( and maybe some tip to clean up the top part)

Oh, so my battle screen thingie is the one above, kinda got simplified aince the guide said each needed to be 68 tiles

Actually managing to understand battle screen, so probably will get to have more info on it once i actually manage to put it in
